How has Former President Trump pissed you off today?

Bronzer prices have gone through the roof this year, and that has to be at least part of the story.

That explains it-neurotoxicity in bronzers.

A CINC we can all be proud of. Blech.

If the leadership of the military is waging wars on its own, that would mean that Donald Trump didn’t order the attack which killed Iranian General Soleimani back in January.

Is this the strong leader that Trump’s fans see; a Commander in Chief who can’t even stop the military from waging wars on its own?

They have proven for the past four years that they are quite capable of holding two or even three simultaneous opinions that can’t all be true. e.g. “The accusations against Trump are all false and legal anyway.”

Along with the denial of climate change and a rejection of science in general, as well as birtherism and other conspiracy theories, fake crowd sizes, and a fervent belief in nonexistent voter fraud (other than the voter fraud committed by themselves, of course), it’s truly an Alice in Wonderland manner of thinking. It’s reminiscent of believing as many as six impossible things before breakfast.

I wasn’t sure, but I’m so pedantic I actually made a point of looking it up before posting…but Goodreads apparently got the source of the quote wrong.

Wikiquote gets it right, though.

That’s for sure.

I am currently reading NYT reporter Michael Schmidt’s book Donald Trump vs The United States, a comprehensive detail of Trump’s attempts to obstruct justice with regards to the Russia investigation.

The book had a detail that I had never seen reported anywhere before - one that must have slipped by the reporters that summarized this book.

It was a detail regarding Michael Flynn and the interview where he lied to the FBI. It was early afternoon on a sunny cloudless day. Flynn looked out the window and said “Just look at that beautiful black sky.”

It’s a weird detail, but one I found telling. Was it his way of suggesting that his lies weren’t really lies inside the alternate reality of Trumpworld? It’s just bizarre.

That is interesting. I think it would be appropriate to interpret it that way.

I finished the book on sunday.

I noted that quote as well. that was out of nowhere. excellent book, there were some very curious things in there.

Do tell! I’ve been feeling nauseated all day anyway… why fight it.

Mostly how the investigation into trump possibly being a Russian asset got dropped.

Want to up that stomach churning? Trump on tape talking to Woodward about the virus. Nearly 200 thousand dead, and he said he didn’t want to start a panic. Gah!

Trump giving a news conference to announce his Supreme Court picks. He’s such a mother fucking traitorous tool.

He TOLD Woodward he “knew it was deadly stuff.” :face_with_raised_eyebrow:

He was probably lying about KNOWING it, casting himself as the expert in all things (again). It’s more likely that he wasn’t even paying attention to his briefings, but thought it would sound impressive.

A far-right member of the Norwegian Parliament, who happens to be the chairman of the Norwegian delegation to the NATO Parliamentary Assembly, has nominated the iDJiT for the Nobel Peace Prize! Not the first time, either.

In an interview with Fox News, Tybring-Gjedde argued that Trump had “broken a 39-year-old streak of American presidents either starting a war or bringing the United States into an international armed conflict…"

No, he just creates internal armed conflict.

Tybring-Gjedde was one of two Norwegian lawmakers who previously submitted Trump’s name for the Nobel Peace Prize in 2018 after his first summit with North Korean leader Kim Jong Un in Singapore — during which Trump and Kim signed a joint agreement committing to the complete denuclearization of the Korean Peninsula.

And we all know how well that went.

Tybring-Gjedde’s daughter Mathilde, a member of Parliament for the center-right Conservative Party, criticized the nomination in an email to CBS News.

“I did not nominate Donald Trump as I do not believe he is qualified to receive the Nobel Peace Prize. The prize is given to those who have ‘done the most or the best work for fraternity between nations, for the abolition or reduction of standing armies and for the holding and promotion of peace congresses.’ Donald Trump does not come to mind when I read this description,” said Mathilde Tybring-Gjedde.

For all we know, all he did was host a conference call. He deserves a Nobel Prize for that?

A friend just texted me that Ted Cruz is on that list. :scream: Say it isn’t so!

And he’s not the worst one on the list…
