How has Former President Trump pissed you off today?

I think part of it had to do with the walking speed of a different species — the horse!

Fuck, it’s not even just the base. Trump did about as well (or even gaining in some demographics) in 2020 as 2016. Maybe most white people aren’t racists (and I’m starting to question even this based on 2020), but most of them sure as hell are ok with violent racists in charge.

It makes sense. This isn’t a standard job and there needs to be a smooth transition. This is only an issue because of how incompetent Trump is. Until now, anybody who could attain the office has had the responsibility to understand their duty to the country is more important than their own hurt feelings.

Not that it’s come up. It’s been nearly 30 years since we’ve had a 1 term President. I’m actually rather curious what Trump would have done in 2024 had he won. He’s been floating the idea of a 3rd term, and with the way his lackeys have been behaving, it would have been fascinating to watch the spectacle.

I know, it’s just very frustrating to watch all these people getting fired and all the other stuff and not wish we had a way to at least be able to stop these sort of moves.

The fact is, half of America is straight up trash.

20-25%, anyway.

70 million out of 330.

I mis-read that as ‘soiled baby’. Eh, still works.

You’re assuming that their idiot children who are not able to vote yet, or the turds who don’t vote are somehow better.

They haven’t proven themselves by voting yet.

And keep in mind that many who do not vote are not able to vote through one of several machinations of disenfranchisement. I can’t hold much of anything against them electorally speaking.

Just remember that half the people you meet are dumber than average.

On the flip side, one has to give Trump props for efficiency: he’s pared the conventional “five stages of grief” down to denial and anger.

There’s certainly plenty of grounds for impeaching him again.

But then there were plenty of grounds for convicting him in the Senate, when he was impeached the first time. So no doubt the consensus is ‘why bother?’

I think this deserves some recognition; FWIW it has scared the crap out of me:

Hah! Those are his only two options for anything, aren’t they?

That is indeed a scary (and really long) article. From that link:

On Nov. 9, Senator Lindsey Graham of South Carolina, who had just survived a challenge by a Black Democrat, declared on Fox:

If Republicans — if we don’t challenge and change the U.S. election system, there’ll never be another Republican president elected again. President Trump should not concede.

I live in Texas. Pretty sure my dumb person encounter rate is higher than that.

Especially inside the State Capitol building.

Maybe we need a new stage of grief. Hissy-fit?

Friend, you made my day with that post!

p.s. I think I saw it here but can’t find the post, nor can I find it on youtube. Can someone link me that video from SNL in which Baldwin is playing Trump destroying stuff with a bat?

Not quite. You left out lying, boasting and evading responsibility.

Well, aren’t those included in his denial of reality?
