Even tho they should know better now not just from his reputation but from personal experience.
“He’s not hurting the right people”; remember that? How about all those folks in jail because of the failed insurrection? How about the trail of broken lives behind him?
That just proves how far these Antifa’s will go with the false flag. Even in jail they claim to be patriots. Same with the pro Trump a racist postings on facebook. Its all part of the Antifa long con, a deep cover operation to discredit the movement years in the making. Just the same way that Obama’s mother posted a birth announcement Honolulu Star after giving birth in Kenya so that they could get him into the whitehouse 50 years later.
The problem is, it conflicts with the policy of enforcing the fundamental precept that ‘no one is above the law.’
I don’t know who’s going to solve this dilemma, but I suspect it won’t be Merrick Garland. As I said when Biden announced his nomination, Garland is a ‘won’t make waves’ type—which is wonderful for those who committed crimes in the previous Administration, but not so wonderful for the rule of law.
Sounds very much like the Trump people were going on a political fishing expedition. Someone needs to be held accountable for this. Ha ha ha! Not likely to happen.
I’ve been noticing a fun trend in non-political media - making fun of right-wing antifa panic.
I was recently reading an urban fantasy novel (Signalz, by F. Paul Wilson), and two character trash a rental car by driving it through a portal to another dimension, where is was attacked by alien creatures.
After they make their way back to modern day New York, they joke about telling the rental car company that they were attacked by Antifa because they were Republicans.
Law and Order SVU has shown right-wingers falsely blaming “antifa”, in a way that makes them look ridiculous. The last Jack Reacher novel, which had an election security plot line, had people accusing Jack Reacher of being “antifa”.
It’s a trend that I hope continues, popular media, —- non-political TV, books, movies and even things like game apps, are an important arena in the so called “culture war”, and one where liberals win.
