I am not thinking whatever I want, I was actually asking, as you seem to know better than all the sources that say that it was declassified when the president made it public. I honestly don’t know exactly how all that works.
I am not saying that it becomes declassified because it is given to people without clearance, I am saying that my understanding, based on what people have said in the media and in these threads, mainly defending trump, is that when the president give the information to those without clearance, that is when it is declassified.
Fair enough, guess I was a little too snarky when I didn’t have to be. Any threads on this board where people say the information is “declassified” I try to respond with, to paraphrase - “No it isn’t”
Anyone in the media who says the information is “declassified” is incorrect. Classified information remains classified until it is officially declassified. Reporting it in the paper doesn’t declassify it, telling a foreign minister doesn’t declassify it, putting it on WikiLeaks doesn’t declassify it.
I personally don’t go to WikiLeaks for that very reason. Classified documents there can still be classified and I, having a clearance, still wouldn’t be able to share them or talk about them in an unauthorized location.
THAT’S the point. Not so much whether the President has the right to say any damn thing he wants, but that in revealing this, he was blowing the cover of an ally of the United States. All so he could show off and further his bromance with Putin. He didn’t even do it for a comprehensible criminal reason–at least Nixon had genuine paranoia to excuse his ordering a criminal act. Trump isn’t smart enough to cause damage intentionally.
It’s only insulting when someone named Obama does it, silly. Everything done by anyone named Obama is wrong, and everything done by anyone named Trump is right. It’s a very simple rule.
Since the ostensible purpose of haircovering is to avoid attacks by incited and uncontrollable males, and neither lady was attacked (so far), I guess the religious prescription is false, no?
Not so much Trump but two-faced supporters in Congress.
Caught parts of Jake Tapper’s show on CNN. Couple of idiot GOP Congresscritters saying it’s a good thing Trump won’t use the phrase “Radical Islamic Terrorism” in today’s speech so we don’t alienate current and potential allies.
Little kids in refugee camps are potential targets for recruitment unless we get them out and improve their lives.
Looks like that Obama fellow was pretty smart after all.
