The President’s first foreign trip is usually either to Canada or Mexico, going back to Reagan. So far I’ve heard no complaints that Trump has broken with tradition in that respect. I can’t imagine Trump would have anything to say to us worth listening to.

Sure. But you weren’t saying “Pelosi was questioning why he visited SA first, here’s a good reason”, you were saying “Pelosi is upset that he’s not visiting countries alphabetically”. Whether or not there was a good reason to visit SA first (not an issue I care about particularly one way or the other) doesn’t absolve you of having committed yourself to a spectacularly stupid criticism of Pelosi.
