Today, I met an 8 year old little girl. Dark hair, big eyes, shy smile. She doesn’t know her daddy is getting deported this week. Her mommy is a U.S. citizen and a meth whore. Her aunt is fit, proper and able to take her in to raise with two cousins close to her age. Except that the aunt is reliant on DACA to stay here, and her husband is just flat out illegal. If DACA is stopped, as Trump seems to be inclined to do, this little girl will have to go into state custody.

when trump says he is for the people, he implies I am not a person. He does not stand for the LGBTQ+ community. His VP doesn’t stand for us. Am I no longer a person?
