How has Former President Trump pissed you off today?

And you can’t predict an earthquake. But the severity of Maria was known well in advance.

It is truly astonishing that there is anyone [del]left[/del] remaining who still supports Trump. There is no nuance, no shade of meaning, that would make any of his actions, either on the campaign trail or once in office, acceptable. He is incompetent, dishonest to the extreme, corrupt beyond even Russia’s imagining, bigoted, racist, a misogynist, illiterate, and evidently delusional. And those who voted for him must know this.

What, at long last, will it take to get him out of office alive? If he dies, from assassination or even natural causes, while in office, there will be a bloodbath in the US, the vicims being Muslims, those who “look Muslim” (Brown), Hispanics, those who “look Hispanic” (Brown), and some other minorities.

This has gone quite far past the point of amusement. This fool in the White House is nothing but a detriment and embarrassment to the country. And he’s dangerous.

He plays with them in the bathtub.

The creator of* Hamilton* is, uh, not a Trump fan: http://www.cnn.com/2017/09/30/politics/lin-manuel-miranda-donald-trump-puerto-rico-tweets/index.html

And yet there are even some on this board, a highly intellectual and well-informed community. Go figure. And yes, it is astonishing.

You’re forgetting Trump’s ace in the hole: He isn’t [del]Hillary[/del] Obama.

I dropped this link in the Puerto Rico thread but I want to drop it here as well, I think it’s important.

This link is to a John Oliver segment on the Puerto Rican debt crisis. Basically Puerto Rico was remade as a tax haven as an experiment in conservative economics - corporations and rich people were given MASSIVE tax breaks on the theory that it would stimulate the economy to record heights. It sort of worked until it didn’t and ultimately the territory was economically devasted. PR issued lots of bonds due to a specific tax break and now most of those bonds are in the hands of predatory hedge funds. And PR isn’t allowed to declare bankruptcy

It’s jaw-dropping and if you watch the whole thing at the end you’ll be rewarded by Lin-Manuel Miranda rapping about it.

Bolding mine. Trump supporters LIKE that. His ‘persona’ supports their own ideals. Eye candy on the arm, the help in the kitchen.

Trump’s own Secretary of State Rex Tillerson: “I’d like to try to prevent a nuclear holocaust.”
Trump: “I’d rather you didn’t.” Get it together, please. This is not fun and games.

I’m worried that at this point it is a near certainty that Trump will back “Little Rocket Man” into a corner and a whole lot of people in Seoul are going to die.

You and me both.

Related: Trump is openly white-supremacist–in a semi-plausibly-deniable fashion.

His supporters have waited all their lives for such a President. They know they are unlikely to ever get another. So they will support him even as his dementia become ever more unmistakable.

Truth be told, I suspect at least a couple of those are just trolling.

Trump is ordering NFL players to stand, damn it, during the anthem.

Paul Ryan says Trump’s heart is “in the right place.”

Um…Heart?

I would not be surprised at all.

Yes it is, but I think that Jones Act nonsense was just an excuse for Chump to say “Fuck you”

and Jeff Sessions.

He can’t order them. We still have a Constitution. So fuck him.

At some point in the near future, someone is going to tell Trump that since Puerto Ricans are US citizens they have the option of moving to the mainland. Without restrictions. I dread the reaction.
