I continue to be astounded by his immediate response to this incident, and the amount of his time and attention is it receiving versus PR and Hurricane Maria. Of course LV is horrific. In terms of traumatic events in my lifetime, for various reasons, this will be in my top 5. Trump is the president. He gets to cowboy up and at least pretend to be interested in things that aren’t covered in neon lights. 3.5 million US citizens should not have had to wait so long for attention from him, let alone a brief visit that he cut short.
Not all of the injured were victims of ballistic intrusion. Many people were injured in the ensuing panic, but the fake news media aren’t telling you that! But, of course!
The gun grabbers want you to think that all of those people were shot, rather than injured in a stampede BECAUSE!..those people panicked at the* sound *of gunfire! So, they were injured by the fear of fire arms!
Therefore, for a lot of them, guns don’t hurt people, fear of guns hurts people! Which political party gains the most from spreading a fear of guns! And do you hear them apologizing to the victims of the stampede? Do you hear any admission of their obvious guilt? Connect the dot, people

I just read the same article, XT, and was flabbergasted. CNN headlines it as “Donald Trump is treating a potential war like a reality show cliffhanger.”
Is there a thread where Trumpists defend their peculiar mascot? What’s their take on this?
Probably that this is what they voted for, that Trump is doing a great job and keeping American’s enemies on their toes…or something. Gods know. To me, every day is a mystery as to what the fuck is going on or what bizarre shit is going to come out of Trump’s mouth today. I really do think that to Trump, this is all a game, and he’s so used to bullying people that he thinks he can just do that with everyone. He seems poised to push Iran to the point they go back to developing nukes even though he still hasn’t shown dick wrt them being out of compliance, he is pushing North Korea so hard that it’s hard to say what they will do, his actions mystify our own allies who don’t know what the fuck the US is doing or will do, he fights with his own party, with the Democrats, with Obama, with his own cabinet and his own staff, hell, with himself seemingly sometimes.
Have you ever seen a movie where they sort of take you into a weird funhouse with off music and strange clowns moving at odd speeds? That’s what the country has become, from my perspective. It’s a clown filled funhouse of strangeness and weird snippets that just get stronger as the days go by.
It could be another case of Trump trying to upsell something that doesn’t exist, like how big and beautiful his wall is going to be.
Maybe he thought the gathering of all the military brass and giving them nice dinners would magically produce a concrete strategy for controlling Iran and NK. Thus, the “calm” of the dinner before the “storm” of the military brass getting down to business. Like they hadn’t been thinking about the chaotic world situation until now.
Or it could be another one of his word salad moments. “Calm before the storm” doesn’t actually mean what he thinks it means.
Jesus Christ on a Cracker. The man is insane. He thinks he’s on a reality show, and we need a cliffhanger episode before the weekend. As some have said, Trump is a fucking moron.
Several of us have started threads since the election asking the Trumpists to explain their positions. We’ve promised to be nice, not to insult them or call them names. We just want to understand. So far, no bonafide Trump supporter has ever posted in one of these threads. Someone, correct me if I’m wrong.
Oh yeah, you have the professionally and habitually obnoxious [del]trolls[/del] Trump defenders (you know who you are, and frankly, so does everyone else), but they mostly defend Trump as a way of hogging the limelight and creating page after page of pointless jousting.
