I could be wrong, but I don’t recall any actual Trumpsters coming forward, at least not on the thread I started. Plenty of anti-Trump people came forward and hypothesized what they thought Trump supporters would say. Yeah, Gosuch is something Trumpsters would support about Trump. And you’re right, that’s all they got.
A good point. The Short Fingered Vulgarian doesn’t understand most “turns of phrase,” or even lots of “words.” So we have no fucking idea what he means when he talks, which is even scarier than taking his proclamations at face value.
And it’s disingenuous for them to even say that. Gorsuch is on the bench because of McConnell, not Trump. It would not have mattered which heartless fuck was sitting in the White House with an ‘R’ in front of his name. That appointment was going to be made come hell or high water.

It’s obvious that Trump is a racist scumbag, but is that the extent of it? This policy of spite against every single thing Obama supported is one of the saddest and most nakedly pathetic things I’ve ever seen. When Donny Shithead started his birther nonsense, was there any other reason for his animosity towards Obama?
The thing is, Obama isn’t just a Generic Black Man. He’s an uppity black man, one who doesn’t know his place, and seems to think he can do anything he wants, like be President of the United States. :eek:
Obama is well-educated, articulate, smart, classy, personable, charming with a wife of the same ilk, and has not a whisper of personal, sexual, financial, or political scandal in his past. What’s not for Trump to hate?
Not to mention, Obama is in prime physical shape. Can you imagine the bitter, jealous rage that erupted in Donnie when he saw those videos of Obama windsurfing?

While Donnie Two-Scoops of Pussy was one of the lead cheerleaders, and should be blamed for keeping it in the headlines, he did NOT start the Birther Movement.
There is plenty of hateful, vile, evil, petty, vindictive shit that the Loofah-Faced ShitGibbon is directly responsible for. No need to blame him for things he’s not. It just gives his supporters the tired way out of “you were wrong about this, therefore you must be wrong about everything”.

To add to what others have said: Trump jumped on the birther issue as a way to get interview invitations–as we know, he loves being the center of attention.
But I’d guess that his actual hatred for Obama began with the infamous 2011 White House Correspondents’ Dinner, when Obama very effectively ridiculed Trump (“But you, Mr. Trump, recognized that the real problem was a lack of leadership. And so ultimately you didn’t blame Little John or Meatloaf. You fired Gary Busey. And these are the kinds of decisions that would keep me up at night.”)

He was certainly one of the better-known and media-savvy birthers, so I don’t think anyone was surprised that he would become a tribune of the “movement.”
