If I had to guess it’s a swipe at Hunter Biden. You know, Hunter Biden, the criminal mastermind who is somehow responsible for every bad thing that ever happens in the US. I bet he’s at a pizza parlor right now scheming and plotting alongside Hillary and the Unselect Committee.

The question is: what will DeSantis do about it? Maintain a dignified distance and refuse to reply? Re-zone Mar-A-Lago as a landfill? What?

Sure; if he has the gall to re-write the Bible, he surely has the ability to assume the posture of an Elder Statesman as he eviscerates Donald.
So, umm, now Trump not only thinks he should still be President but he also should be the Governor of Florida?
There is zero incentive for DeSantis to engage Trump at this point. The way that DeSantis wins is if he steals away the base from Trump in a relatively seamless transition as his star rises and Trump’s star falls. Trump is trying to force a division to cut off DeSantis from this base right from the start. If DeSantis responds in kind he gives Trump what he wants. If he bides his time Trump looks more and more petty and desperate and DeSantis appears as the strong one.
Win the Republican nomination for President.

Jesus, these bottom-feeding, knuckle-dragging mouth-breathers think they have a brand. And style. Of course, you can have a terrible brand and awful style, but I doubt they see it that way.
