How has the disgraced, CONVICTED FELON, former but once again President Trump pissed you off today? (Part 1)

“The advice of council”? Sir, many people, with tears in their eyes, are asking what council this was and who was sitting on the council.

I told him Boromir was bad news.

Melania keeps saying that the ring is hers.

He misspelled “judgment” too. Maybe he was distracted by a passing covfefe.

What prompted this confession? Why does a statute of limitations come into play? Why did he need advice of consul to have a romp in the hay with a porn star? Why admit adulterous behavior to his wife and evangelist followers?

The mind boggles.

Heh. Counsel, not consul. Let’s not drag the State Department into this mess!

Well, at least we know he typed it himself.

One, of the main reasons Trump wants back in the White House is the Statute of Limitations. I think that the years served in public office should not count.

I’m sure Melania is very pleased that Trump is considering running again. It seems that Ivanka and Jarred are trying to distance themselves from him. Tiffany is the only one with any brains at all.

Or ancient Rome!

Thanks for that.

(Every time I see it misspelled, I twitch. I know it’s a losing battle, because it’s misspelled so often that the misspelling is now an “accepted” spelling. Yeah, no. Not to anyone in the legal field, it’s not. And don’t even get me started on opening “arguments”!)

The provincialism of Americans never fails to astound me.

Trump would love to see a statue of eliminations made in his honor. Trump sitting on a golden throne, just ready to flush.

Good job Euphonious. No pictures though please.

Don’t paint with such a broad brush. It’s nothing to do with being an American in my case. Far more to do with my upbringing – for better or worse. I often think for worse.

Maybe it’s just me, but I don’t understand what this comment has to do with @Aspenglow’s post. Many of us on this board (American or not) are sticklers for spelling.

Most of the English speaking world does not use American spelling.

That may be true, but Trump (last I checqued  ) was an American. He didn’t spell it the American way, and I seriously doubt he was doing so in an effort to sound sophisticated. He simply spelled in “wrong.”

Your mind boggles because you have a mind. His doesn’t because he doesn’t.

Unsurprising, but it still pisses me off:

Ingram wrote a letter to a Trump Interior Department official with attached articles arguing on the Hammond’s behalf. A Republican lawmaker tweeted on July 1, 2018, that Trump was giving the pardon serious consideration.

Just one day later, Ingram sent in his donation to the Super PAC, and the following week, the Hammonds were pardoned…

“Mr. Ingram made only one other $10,000 donation during the 2017-2018 nonpresidential election cycle. That donation was the subject of the committee’s criminal referral regarding the Villages at Vigneto development [in Arizona]. In that case, Ingram and 12 other individuals, many of whom maintained personal or professional relationships with Ingram, donated nearly a quarter of a million dollars to the Trump Victory Fund and the Republican National Committee on the same day or within just a few days that a major federal action regarding Vigneto was made in Ingram’s favor.”

They continued, “The parallels between the Vigneto case and the Hammonds’ pardons raise significant concerns about another potential case of bribery under the Trump administration and warrant further investigation.”
