So if election denialists are saying Trump actually won in 2020, wouldn’t that mean he’s ineligible to run in 2024, since a single person can’t be president for more than two consecutive terms? In other words, if he’s running in 2024, then he must have lost in 2020.

Since he “won” the election but his bespoke mob failed to stop the certification of the fake Dominion votes etc etc, he was never actually elected. That clears him to “win” for a third time.

But seriously, they’re all a bunch of would-be authoritarians who don’t care about the law or logic actually dictate as long as they have a plausible enough rationale to justify the outcome to themselves and their ilk. Putting forth a rational argument to them is an exercise in a debate with a 3-year old (“yes it is”, “no it isn’t”, “yes, it is” ad nauseum et infinitum)
Yes, I suggested in this or some other SDMB thread that he be asked about that under oath in a deposition in one of his many lawsuits, to box him in under the pains and penalty of perjury that he was elected twice under the 22nd Amendment, but I have to agree that it wouldn’t change any MAGAheads’ minds.
Fortunately for the men like him, unfortunately for the women they come in contact with. But as far as he is concerned only the first group counts.

I’m a little ticked off Trump feels the need to undermine the Armed Forces of the United States by saying they can’t fight or win right now. I’d say this would kill his chances at re-election, but if mocking a POW and refusing to visit the Aisne-Marne American Cemetery near Paris because it was “filled with losers” wasn’t enough to piss off all those patriots who live him I don’t think his supporters will care about this either.

The jury in that trial narrowly defined rape as “penetration with a penis”. The New York State definition of rape includes “sexual intercourse”, and that must be how the jury was instructed to treat it.
The definition will vary from jurisdiction to jurisdiction. In other places, “rape” can involve involuntary penetration by just about any object in any orifice.
But if he sexually assaulted her without engaging in actual penetration with his eenie weenie, then in this case he was not deemed to have raped her.
That is disgusting, that hairsplitting. As a rape victim I can say that no matter what is done, rape occured. What if he…no, I’m not going to write that down. But if the stories are true, at least he has little hands.
