Dang! My bad-- I missed that one.
barren coffee table
Barron coffee table
While some of the captions are typeset others in the book appear to be printed in a barely legible scrawl so I assume that that is what Donnie Jr is referring to. I’ll also note that website ads for the book don’t say that Trump wrote all the captions, just that he “selected” them himself.
The most likely scenario is that a ghost writer put together a set of some 350 photos and captions and presented then to Donald glanced over them, threw out the 50 or so that were insufficiently laudatory, and copied a few of the short captions by hand.
My guess:
Its hard to say. If it is a computer replica of sharpy scrawl its a pretty sophisticated one. Looking at the example they have on their website none of the letters are exactly the same, but on the other hand they do appear more similarly awful than I would expect by natural writing (all of the e’s at the ends of words look like l’s but have different tail lengths all of the o’s have a dot in the middle but aren’t quite the same.) So it may be either an algorithm that takes a baseline letter and then randomly alters it to keep them from being absolutely identical, or it could be somebody else actively trying to match the idiosyncrasies of Trumps writing from a sample.
ETA: I think I found it.
Trump’s website said the pictures in the $75 coffee table book were all “handpicked” by him
Are the animal pictures from his cognitive test in the book?
President. Bronzer. Insurrection. Stoat.
I’m assuming that there are the following pictures with captions:
Person
Woman
Man
Camera
TV
Surely he doesn’t remember the significance of these words in that order any more. Or care.
That’s a person, he’s white.
That’s a woman, but not as hot as the ones I get
That’s a man, but not as tough and smart as me.
That’s a camera. I recognize them, but I can’t have them anymore since the bathroom incident.
That’s a TV, but it’s broken now since I’m not on it 24/7.
Donnie’s mad because he couldn’t get permission to hold a rally
Former President Trump is reportedly looking to oust Republican Alabama Gov. Kay Ivey in her reelection bid next year, blaming her for the cancelation of a rally in the state this summer.
The Wall Street Journal reported on Monday, citing Trump advisers, that the former president has privately blamed Ivey for the decision to cancel his rally in June, which was supposed to take place at the USS Alabama Battleship Memorial Park.
The former president has reportedly met with Lynda Blanchard, who served as ambassador to Slovenia in his administration, to discuss a potential endorsement if she were to wage a bid for governor.
Sheesh, what a petty little prick.
I sense a book here.
War Hero.
Caption in Trump Scrawl:
That’s not a war hero. he’s only a war hero 'cause he was captured. I Like people that weren’t captured, OK.
The fun part is that the Governor’s Office had nothing to do with the cancellation. Ever since Santorum held a rally there back in 2012, the park rule has been “No Partisan Political Events.”
Makes sense. It’s hard to get santorum stains out of stuff.
Maybe he does, but don’t call me Shirley.
Another demonstration that “honorary” does not require actual honor:
Please tell me a certain banned Doper was there.
You kidding? He was the master of ceremonies!
Can I call you surly?
Don’t give me that look!
