Unfortunately, MAGAs think that destroying democracy will bring their country back. The Ward and June country where certain people knew their place.
I’m sure there are actual patriots that have gone over the edge on flag displays. But you are probably correct that many, many flags is a sign that they are MAGA.

As a Democrat who often flies the US flag, I absolutely refuse to cede what ought to be a symbol of pride, patriotism and national unity to the Cult of Trump or to any partisan subgroup.
A lot of people need to fly a lot of flags to show that they love their country, because looking at their words and their actions you certainly couldn’t tell any other way.

Yes, flags should be flown by patriots and not those who want to overthrow the government or elect someone who tried to do so. I will sometimes use patriotic symbols because I think America is already pretty good without having to hate minorities or butcher education or take away freedoms like MAGA folks want.
Yet, somehow, they managed to, from the lead of their Führer, to believe and shout it represents the military and any attack on the flag is thus an actual attack on the military.
It’s simply not possible to have a rational discussion with people who go down a path like that (or any of the other paths they’re going down at the behest of Tan the Conman, for that matter).
During the previous insurrection (the Biggest, nobody’d ever heard of such a big insurrection before that one, they told me, with tears in their eyes…) in the 1860s, the insurrectionists had the good sense to make their own flag and use that instead of the one used by the actual patriots preserving the country. So, to me, those who, in the 2020s, flap that insurrection’s flag proudly are conveniently telling all and sundry their position: they support treason.
Exactly right. That’s my #1 problem with that bullshit expression, Make America Great Again. It wasn’t not great before the magatoflatearthers started bitching about it. If anything, they’re trying to make it not great.

in on the lawfully and legitimately elected President of the United States going without a shirt at the beach: “I have a much better body than him.”
Oddly enough, the only thing that’s making me wonder now is how many Mickey Dee’s hamberders ol’ Tan has consumed in his life.
Seriously, is the election now supposed to be some kind of beauty contest? First of all I don’t vote for the “prettiest” candidate. Second of all trump is as far from pretty as you can get. I didn’t vote for Biden for his good looks.
Biden is an old man who doesn’t look too bad for his age. trump looks bloated and weird because of all the primping he does. This of course is all beside the point as policy, ethics, and integrity are the the things that count. trump has none of that he is shallow, hateful, and vain.
I guess if “beauty” means anything here, trump’s intrinsic uglyness is reflected in his appearance. What a shallow waste of oxygen.

I’m surprised it took as long as it did to blame the Hamas attack on Biden.
So if Trump loses AGAIN in 2024, what are the chances his MAGA followers will accept defeat gracefully this time? Or is it going to be even worse?
If Biden loses, do Dems have the same right to storm the Capitol that Repubs did? In other words, will there ever be unity in the USA again? Or is that what Trump ultimately took away?
Pure speculation on my part: I think he finally loses a substantial portion of his cult. Sure, there will still be lots who would follow him over a cliff. But I think three elections in a row where he can’t get most of the vote will be enough for people longing for an invincible strongman.
And, yes, he will again claim the election was rigged. But I believe a substantial portion of the true believers know full well that he lost, and simply don’t care as long as they can make the libs cry. Anyway, I think a near-death, two-time loser starts to smell a bit, even to the deplorable tribe.

Well, I certainly wouldn’t be shocked if we have to endure “Stop the Steal, Part 2.” But I think even Trump starts to lose his strongman luster after enough losing.
