How has the disgraced, CONVICTED FELON, former but once again President Trump pissed you off today? (Part 1)

Some of those people walking away from their photo op looked like loosing game show contestants looking for direction on which way to exit.

I was going to say the same. They actually want to shake the piece of shits hand hand have their picture taken with him. Disgraceful.

I wish I could find the ‘Captain Subtext’ clip from Coupling, ‘Her Best Friend’s Bottom’ episode that shows Jane going around saying, ‘Me… Me… Me… Meeeee!

I like the one where she’s arguing with her own hand puppet about whether she’s self-obsessed.

Don’t think I’ve every heard of the show(?)Coupling. But you just blew my mind.

‘Jane and the Truth Snake’ (full episode). It’s been years since I’ve seen it, so I don’t know where the argument is.

Here’s the full episode of Her Best Friend’s Bottom ‘Captain Subtext’ starts around 25:40.

Coupling was hilarious. We have the boxed set, but we’ve never watched Season 4.

Just wanted to add my voice to say Coupling was an awesome show (the British version, they tried to make an American version which failed and it’s kind of sad since Coupling was basically copying Friends to begin with).

Jane and her insanity was probably my favorite part.

If anyone has seen the show Leverage, the same actress is one of the main cast of that show as well.

It’s too bad that once Jeff left the show, it went downhill and was never good again.

(Steve on the show is someone people might recognize from the Pirates of the Caribbean films.)

QFT. But until then it was one show that regularly made me LOL until I peed my pants. We still say “apparently” in the mocking of Susan’s intonation of the word, and talk about Sally’s Happy Place. Very funny show. The replacement “Jeff” was so stupid, he was basically a chimp in a suit.

To this day, I follow Jeff’s advice and take my socks off first when undressing.

The first episode of the American version used the same script (or close to it) as the British version. I found it interesting to see how different actors interpreted the same material.

When I first started watching, I found her character to be be completely insuffereable, to the point of even disliking the actress. The argument with the truth snake completely changed my opinion; she was fantastic in that scene.

I was taught ages ago (I think in Basic Combat Training), you don’t have to take the socks off last, but you should take them off after, not before, you take your underpants off.

This didn’t really piss me off but given this thread’s title this seems to belong here (it pisses me off that this buffoon is a front runner for president):

And we all know how much he lies, so….

What was the reasoning behind this? I just never gave much thought to order of clothing removal.

The Sock Gap

Coupling was a UK absurdist sex farce loosely modeled after Friends and written by Steven Moffat. One of the characters was named Jeff, and Jeff spent a lot of thought and effort dissecting sex etiquette. Captain Subtext was mentioned above by @Johnny_L.A, and then @FordPrefect mentioned the issue of socks when it comes to intimacy.

The Sock Gap was a theory by the Jeff character. It is “the point where a man decides to remove his socks before becoming intimate. Jeff’s recommendation is between shoe removal and pant removal.”

So you don’t spread athlete’s foot to your crotch.

Perhaps any further discussion of Coupling, the Sock Gap etc. could go in another thread…?

At which point it wouldn’t be athlete’s foot anymore. I don’t want to know what the new name is.

Jock itch.
