Seriously. There may be some assertions that require some fact-checking research. This ain’t one of ‘em. Objective reporting includes highlighting obvious lies, not ignoring them.
If you bury the reporter in bullshit, they can report the story or call out the lies, but there are not enough inches for both. At this point, the bullshit has becomes so relentless and suffocating that reporters cannot be arsed to deal with it directly. It seems to be an effective strategy: overwhelm them until the just start letting it slide. Which is unfortunate, because the story should be “what the ever-loving fuck is this” rather than thing happened.

CNN had a Growed-Ass-Man, in a Suit and Tie, that managed to get in front of a camera to show his face to the entire Nation, and he tried to defend (That Asshole) for re-tweeting (or whatever they call it) a picture of Harris and Clinton with a Blowjob reference
And his defense was, “Oh, He probably didn’t even read the caption”
and the CNN Anchor (Brianna K something, I think?) totally let that slide. I’da been, “Like what the fuck, Dude? I know he’s an idiot and can’t read compound words like Blowjob, but do you honestly think he just picked that picture at random of two women to send??” And then dismissed him from the interview. Fuck Me.
If a fucking 7 year old came up with that excuse for Some Old Bullshit, they would get dessert privilidges revoked for a few days. But CNN? A Cheato Mouth-Piece? Total pass.
