I was surprised to see this story actually made it to the NBC Evening News last night. Though it was described in muted tones, something like “concern expressed over trump comments”, not “trump says something people are calling insane and a callback to Nazi policies”. It got less reaction than something like Romney’s comment about “having binders full of women” back in the day. Remember when a politician could collapse in the polls by saying a relatively benign thing like that, or by yelling in a slightly weird way?
What’s pissing me off about trump right now is his misinformation regarding the relief efforts for hurricane Helene. This is the time and place when a Presidential candidate should be demonstrating their leadership abilities. Not making the problem worse by pushing more self-serving lies. I really, really hate this guy.
Following Hurricane Helene, and with another storm on the way, Trump is falsely claiming the White House is diverting disaster relief aid to unrelated migrant programs. This is false, but Trump, while president, did repurpose FEMA funds to help finance his hardline immigration policies.
Emphasis mine. Every accusation a confession, indeed.
The NBC bigwigs are killing an MSNBC documentary about Trump’s family separation policy because they don’t want to trigger America’s Biggest Snowflake.
Are they kidding? MSNBC spends all day offending Trump. It’s their raison d’etre.

The article suggests that they are holding back in hopes that Trump will agree to let them host another debate. Fat chance.
This just reported on ABC news by David Muir - back when Covid was raging and the Abbott test had just been invented. Testing was hard to get. Trump sent a couple of machines to Vladimir Putin for his personal use.
This source is Bob Woodward. He also says Trump has had several phone calls with Putin after leaving the Presidency.
Of course Trump denies both accusations. But he does like to brag about getting along with Putin.
