Forgot to mention, a high school friend of mine lives in Nebraska, but she’s not red. Her town has an abortion clinic right across the street from a Catholic church. I saw a program about the clinic and the services they provide and sent a sort of donation. The helpers were standingoutside in the cold, so I sent a number of gift cards for a coffee shop they could use.

That was a thoughtful show of support, I bet that meant a lot to them, it would have to me.
That clinic would be the CARE Clinic in Bellevue, kitty corner from St. Mary’s. The only other abortion clinic in all of Nebraska is a little further north, in Omaha itself, close to where my parents lived.

I should have noticed that, but it does appear to be a typo. I’m seeing too many references to “January 8, 2025” marches for it to be merely old websites.
Sometimes you see “People’s March” and sometimes “Women’s March.” As @BippityBoppityBoo posted, they are being held all over the country.

All of this directly contrary to the NAFTA successor trade pact, USMCA, negotiated in his first term and of which he said at the time, "The USMCA is the largest, most significant, modern, and balanced trade agreement in history. All of our countries will benefit greatly."

So, like much of the rest of the world, the US is facing cost of living, climate changes, immigration issues, drug problems, pollution, unemployment and underemployment, lack of affordable housing etc etc.
And he wants to kick off his presidency by renaming the Gulf of Mexico?
