Former Defense Secretary Mark Esper charges in a memoir out May 10 that former President Trump said when demonstrators were filling the streets around the White House following the death of George Floyd: “Can’t you just shoot them? Just shoot them in the legs or something?”
“Only you can get away with that, sir.”
Do they have to be peaceful protesters? Because I’m thinking maybe that’s what they should have done to the Jan 6 insurrectionists.
Of course he does. He even called (calls?) for the execution of a group proven innocent.

Because things like ‘observed trajectory’ and ‘missile debris’ are not a part of his limited world.
For some reason this incident (assuming it’s being reported correctly, which is a stretch in itself) brings the Ravenous Bugblatter Beast of Traal to mind. Maybe it’s because of the “If I can’t see where the missiles came from, neither can Mexico” logic (sic).

Imagine a person not voting for Trumpy in 2016 but doing so in '20. After four years of listening to inane thoughts like bombing Mexican drug labs, that voter concluded “Hey, this guy is really starting to make sense to me.”
He can win without any new voters, they only need to suppress around 70k voters in battleground states.
Okay, so I’m imagining a racist who, in 2016, didn’t think that Trump was racist enough.
For some voters, there’s always more to do on that front.
