How has the disgraced, CONVICTED FELON, former but once again President Trump pissed you off today? (Part 1)

I would like to see his lawyers repeat this bullshit claim in court, under oath.

Well, the lawyers wouldn’t be under oath, but I’d love to see them put forward a witness who’s up for a perjury charge.

Let’s see what all the people who blasted Hillary for sloppy handling of classified data have to say:

Individual 1’s camp has been claiming for several days that the warrant was enforced without any of his lawyers given a heads’ up. But the released warrant shows that one of his lawyers signed it.

The DC Attorney General tweeted that their office is going to trial on the Inauguration Committee misuse of funds, and that a judge has added the Trump Organization as one of the defendants. Melania friend Stephanie Winston Wolkoff announced that she is the lead witness.

Here’s a great anecdote from Stephanie Wolkoff Winston’s book.

There was some informal meeting, and Rick Gates (the Manafort aide who worked on the Presidential Inaugural Committee) came up in conversation. Trump flipped out, claiming that Rick had stolen $750,000 dollars from him and that he wanted him fired from the committee. No one could figure out what the fuck Trump was talking about, the suspicion was that he had him confused with some other guy named Rick.

Just then, a young staffer whom Trump had never met before came in to deliver a sandwich to Trump. Trump pointed at him and said “Put him in charge of the inauguration”. They did, and that is how Trump met his crony and enforcer John McEntee.

Gates actually continued his work, but they hid him from Trump.

Wonder how Incantation’s John McEntee feels about sharing the same name.

TFG is just spewing lies like a firehose at this point. Pure, unadulterated lies, one after the other.

That’s his entire business model and personal life. It’s all he knows how to do.

And unfortunately (for us), it keeps on working for him.

Saw an interview last night with one of CFSG’s lawyers who said that they — presumably one or more of the Trumps — watched the search on CCTV, and had a better idea of what was going on than she (the lawyer) had on site. Which simultaneously gives the lie to the argument that CFSG’s legal team didn’t get a heads up, and makes the planted-document theory much harder to believe.

“Only the best people.”

So, let’s see if I’ve got this right. Individual 1 declassified all of those documents, but the FBI planted them. Right?

That is exactly right.

It would be another variation of ‘There was no crime. But if there was a crime, I didn’t do it. If I did do it, it wasn’t that bad…’; only it doesn’t have to be that. His minions will believe mutually exclusive statements from their MESSiah at the same time.

I suppose a nitpicker could wonder how he knew which documents to declassify. But of course Trump’s very good brain had that all figured out:

President Trump, in order to prepare for work the next day, often took documents (including classified documents) to the Residence. He had a standing order that documents removed from the Oval Office, taken to the Residence, were deemed to be declassified the moment he removed them.

(The above is a transcription of Lawrence O’Donnell’s reading of an announcement on Fox, so I won’t swear to the punctuation. But you get the drift.)

The panel on O’Donnell’s show tore this argument to shreds for too many reasons to list. In addition to the absurdity of the concept of automatic declassification, they questioned the idea of Trump taking anything to the Residence for study in the evening. It was also pointed out that none of the statutes cited in the warrant depended on classification: mishandling any document in the manners described was a violation.

This is just the latest idiotic episode of a genuinely idiotic president who has been behaving bizarrely since before his ascendency to the highest office in the land. I never for a moment thought he would ever make a good president.

There are no excuses for what he did. I believe he did it to keep some cool souvenirs of his being president, just like any 12-year-old child would do, and thought that as president, he could do anything he wanted, regardless of the law.

This is an example of Democracy at its worst, where we elected a belligerent pathological narcissist who was unfit to be dog catcher. I would like to think we learned something from this debacle, but I’m worried that a large portion of the country hasn’t and frankly doesn’t understand all the fuss. We somehow became normalized to his daily bizarre behavior. How could we let this happen to our great country? We failed as a democracy.

HIs supporters applaud him and want to be just like him. But not all or the country supports him. Less than half. But that’s still frightening. That ANYONE would support him is frightening.

By enshrining tyranny by the minority in the Constitution.

And that’s the thing. I don’t see why anyone with an IQ over 50, or any woman, would support him. What do they see in him that’s attractive? I think many just like his “fuck the government” attitude, not realizing that he’s part of the same government they hate. They believe he “cleaned out the swamp” and tried to destroy the “deep state,” but he did neither, mainly because there is no deep state. He’s fat, ugly, dumb and most of all, lied 30,000 times on the record during his four-year administration. If nearly half the country still thinks he’s great, I just don’t get it and never will until the day I die. Canada is looking better every day…

“By enshrining tyranny by the minority in the Constitution.”

I also blame the electoral college. Nobody should lose the popular vote by nearly 3 million votes and still become president under any circumstances. That’s not a democracy; that’s a bogus, outmoded, and outdated electoral system. Why even bother to vote? My vote doesn’t matter since I don’t live in a swing state.

I think it’s more of a “fuck progressives” attitude. They absolutely cannot and will not tolerate any change. Progressives are trying to make a change for the better (addressing climate change etc.).
What MAGA’s absolutely refuse to see is that change is going to happen whether they like it or not. It can be for the better, or we can take their road, and just let it get worse.

And these dolts see that ‘sticking it to the Lib’s’ as winning. Well. I have a molecule over here that sort of feels sorry for these losers. They see the world around them changing, and they simply cannot keep up.
