That was my take as well. I mean, yes, some of our funding is rife with requirements to serve marginalized populations. As it should be. If we’re doing work in those communities, we should make sure we know how to serve those communities.

They totally rescinded the NOFO. All NOFOs. (In direct violation of a court order, I might add.)
Our contract for this program is up in September, so we just flat-out don’t have any funding options for this program now.
The one silver lining is the state governor DID appropriate $50m to help offset VOCA cuts. This is a separate issue, but the difference to our agency is like 20% of the budget. Now we just have to see if it survives Congress.
