How has the disgraced, CONVICTED FELON, former but once again President Trump pissed you off today? (Part 2)

I always see an IUD

I joked about that too, saying it looks like the one his mama should have used. But now I can also see it as an orbitoclast( lobotomy tool), such as his doctor ought to think about using on him.

How would we tell the difference?

ETA: Riffing off the old Dorothy Parker quip upon hearing that Calvin Coolidge was dead.

Ha! Indeed.

So many threads - but here you go.

Trump suggests Tesla vandals should be sent to prison in El Salvador - multiple sources.

The vandalism is wrong, peaceful protest is fine. That said:
The Republican party is way more worried about protecting Elmo and his businesses than they ever have been about keeping kids from being shot while attending school.

Elmo has deep, deep pockets. That’s pretty much all to see here.

Ol’ Ted Geisel was very smart about awful human tendencies (in this case, of some Americans, now and always, to cozy up to fascism).

As for the Tesla logo: several negative associations have been mentioned. I wonder if it has any POSITIVE ones???

I have Dr. Seuss Goes To War and Dr. Seuss & Co Go To War.

It always made me think of something that would be in the logo for a vampire movie (since it looks like a fang and/or stake) and vampire movies can be cool.

…That’s all I got.

So why exactly were social security numbers even included in these docs in the first place?

For theft, retribution and vengeance.

This is NOT the way to handle sensitive data.

Without knowing what the docs were, exactly, it’s impossible to say.

Personnel records, tax info, and so on would certainly have that info.

As stated before, they released records that they either didn’t mean to, or didn’t redact them the way they should have. They fucked up. Because they aren’t putting people in charge who have any sort of competency, and they are firing so many people that even the competent people can’t take the time to do things right anymore.

It’s just like what happened to Twitter when Musk fired all of the people that actually made the site work. Frequent outages, data leaks, an increasingly toxic environment, improvements made over time just flushed down the toilet, etc.

A CNN article said some of the SSNs were from people who’d filed FOIA requests in the past, or were from personnel records of people who’d served on USG assassination-related committees.

He pissed me off by making me chuckle at a Ben Garrison cartoon.

At the moment…

Trump signed an executive order to tell states how to run their elections. States determine how elections are run; not the President. He orders that ballots must be received by Election Day, not just postmarked. (He also claims that ballots are received without postmarks. Maybe those were put into drop boxes rather than mailed?) So too bad if you’re a serviceman or servicewoman serving overseas. You don’t get to vote, you suckers!

This executive order is blatantly unconstitutional. Here’s what Article I, Section 4 of the United States Constitution has to say about elections [emphasis mine]:

The Times, Places and Manner of holding Elections for Senators and Representatives, shall be prescribed in each State by the Legislature thereof…

The States get to choose the time (postmarked by Election Day), places (mail, drop boxes) and manner (vote by mail) of elections.

What next? An executive order declaring that all voter registrations are void, and everyone who wants to vote will have to re-register, in person, with their papers?

I had a friend visiting me for the past few days. Her arrival was delayed because she has anxiety issues which sometimes make it impossible to leave her house. Literally; she will be unable to walk out of her front door because of concerns about facing the outside world.

What does Trump have to do with this, you ask? She told me that her therapist feels that part of the reason for her anxiety is hearing news about what Trump is doing, and that she should avoid news reports about him.

Yeah, so? The Constitution is naught but an ass-wipe for his nibs. The Roberts court has decreed he can do whatever he wants.

Sounds more like a type of agoraphobia.

Very sad. But IMHO, Trump has nothing to do with that issue.
ALL need to know what the hell he is doing. Fear is a great motivator. Well, can be, unless you’re in a B movie and sprain an ankle.

We all have fear. Well thinking people do. Trump has collected those with IQ < 100 to be on his side. The same side of that quotient that Trump is. They are at home, and so is he.

They have a hero that they can reasonably be confident that they are ‘smarter’ than’.

It does, I suffered from agoraphobia for years so I know that feeling all too well.

Trump anxiety might be how it’s manifesting but it’s not going to be the cause.
