Now it’s being reported that it was apple cider vinegar (accounting for it not being colorless).
My guess would be that the guy wants the notoriety of having physically attacked one of Trump’s most-reviled people, but he does NOT want to go to prison. Hence the use of a harmless substance.
He may well find that his calculations were correct, and that the right will reward him greatly with fame and fortune.
But Donald loves to pardon people who should be in jail, if he sees them as being on his side. And anyone attacking Omar is definitely someone that Donald will warm up to. I don’t think it’s out of the question that the guy will be rewarded—maybe not with a full Presidential Medal of Freedom, but with something.
Hmmm, how clever of Omar to recruit an “assailant” with a documented social media history of outspoken support for Trump and Israel and antagonism towards Omar herself, right?
Maybe offer some sympathy to your pet Trump cultist about the sad fact that her fellow MAGA sympathizers are so hard up for money, in the precarious Trump economy, that they’re reduced to hiring themselves out to anti-Trump political figures to stir up public sympathy for said anti-Trumpers by pretending to physically attack them. I’m sure she will appreciate your commiseration.
The more people he pardons for felonies the more people that won’t be able to get real jobs and will just be given a firearm and join ICE. Nothiing else they can do.
Winery: her husband TIm Mynett owns an ownership share in a California winery, eStCru LLC. They have produced a couple of lines of wines but appear to be having cashflow issues from 2023 onwards. No idea the extent to which Omar is involved in that business, nor whether her husband is Muslim. Also not sure whether there is anything hinky going on or whether it’s just a normal business failure.
(I do have certain views about members of Congress whose family members seem to consistently beat the markets in investments coughnancypelosicough but that’s a wider issue.)
Medicare laundering: No evidence that Omar had anything to do with this, which was led largely by two people running a child nutrition program. Trump and friends of course are smearing Omar because there are a few(!) members of the Somali community involved.
It’s an understandable mistake- Senators typically get more national attention than Reps, and Ilhan Omar gets much more national attention than the typical Rep due to trump’s constant unhinged vilifying of her.
Neither was staged. If Biden’s FBI confirmed that Trump was shot (though I’m pretty sure he was barely grazed, not the dramatic injury that he and his sycophants pretend it was) then that’s good enough for me.
