What with the impact on inflation due to tariff and the Iranian excursion, an opposing political campaigner can wave two notes and say that “this” Trump dollar bill is worth less than “This” Biden or Obama etc dollar bill.
He’s just putting his name on everything he can: US currency and coins, the Kennedy Center, the Trump Ballroom, and so on.
I have no doubt that the next US President will remove the Trump name from everything.
I don’t use paper bills often, but I plan to start carrying a Sharpie around with me so if I come across a bill with his name on it, I can remove it myself.
Or at least re-route his name into Alabama. 
I have a feeling that Trump is going to leave his mark all right, but not the way he was hoping.
A little ink stamp thing that circled the signature with terms like “Liar Fucking Thief Putin Puppet” (or use your imagination) might make an enterprising young go-getter a few dollars.

I mark currency for the Where’s George site so I pay closer attention to them than most folks do. I would feel a slight wave of revulsion when Steve Mnuchin’s sig appeared on the 2017 and 2017A series. Looks like I’ll have to keep a Sharpie handy to line over his nib’s seismograph signature like some to to In God we trust on the back.

I’m going to tell you something about this country that I’m kinda proud of. An odd, often uncelebrated factoid of Americana is that every Treasurer of the United State dating back to the end of World War II has been a woman. Now, before we get too misty eyed, the Muskrat-ish AI agent I consulted was obligated to point out that the Treasurer of the United States is mostly “a ceremonial position with oversight of currency printing and the Mint,” which was therefore appropriate to appoint a woman to indicate inclusiveness. Nonetheless, the precedent of appointing a woman, and often a woman of color, to this role dates back to Harry Truman. The last male Treasurer of the United States left office in May, 1949.
What’s a little more interesting to me personally, being a bit numismatist, is the signature of the Treasurer of the United States, along with the arguably more important role of Secretary of the Treasury, both appear on every piece of printed paper we call US Currency. All of it. Therefore, at least one woman’s signature appears on every dollar bill dating back almost 80 years. Sure, it might be ceremonial role, but I have always found this inclusion of gender equity to be both enlightening and profound; a sense of pride as I saw it personally as a country I am proud to represent; a United States that showcased its democratic and equitable credentials around the world for all to see. What better way than do that right there on your printed money, the global currency standard of all standards? The almighty dollar itself.
Somewhat unsurprising, this precedent all came to a crashing halt when Cheeto Chucky reassumed the position of power and installed Ubermensch bootlicker and fellow Giga-election-denier, Brandon Beach, as the Treasurer last May. Somewhat worthy of a DailyKos diary even then, it is now much more so after recent events.

Mr. Beach probably (and somewhat naturally) flexed his left or right hand in excited anticipation of producing the first all-male signature set on next dollar bill series. But lo and behold, and stop me if this surprises you, Mr. Cheeto has decreed from the King’s chair that he is breaking with 165 years of precedent and placing his own signature on the bill
If the law provides for certain officials to sign our bills, and trump orders bills produced without those sigs, then he is guilty of counterfeiting.
Supremes just need to rule that all bills bearing his sig are not in fact legal US money. That’ll blow some MAGAt minds.

Here’s a new fresh outrage.
At Army dining halls, the administration is ending a preference for blind vendors that goes all the way back to the Great Depression.
Senate Democrats are urging the Trump administration to drop its plan to ditch the Army’s preference for blind vendors, calling the move unjustified and saying it will hurt job opportunities for workers with disabilities.
The Education Department disclosed in December that blind applicants would no longer get the same priority to operate the Army’s dining halls, claiming the policy has led to “significant price and efficiency issues.” The change, first reported by HuffPost, would effectively kill a policy that’s been in place at the Army since the Great Depression to help combat job discrimination against the blind.
This is 100% in keeping with his disdain for anyone who isn’t a perfect human specimen* like himself. A disabled person is clearly a “loser” in life. If God wanted them to succeed and become billionaires, he wouldn’t have made them blind amirite. To give them preference is Woke/DEI stuff.

Speaking at a Saudi-backed investment forum in Florida, Trump said that the Saudi leader did not expect the US to make a strong comeback under his presidency.
“He said, you know, it’s amazing … a year ago, you were a dead country. Now, you’re literally the hottest country anywhere in the world,” Trump said.
The Republican leader then suggested that the Crown Prince had misjudged him.
“He didn’t think this was going to happen … he didn’t think he’d be kissing my ass … he thought it’d be just another American president that was a loser … but now he has to be nice to me,” he said.
