The Pentagon held a Good Friday service for employees at the Pentagon chapel.
Catholics were excluded.
Nitpick: Good Friday is the one day of the year on which no Catholic Mass is said. There is definitely a service. But it’s not a Mass.
That does not negate the fact that to hold a Good Friday service and not invite Catholics is absurd but sadly, typical of this so-called administration. They are reverting to the idea that Catholics aren’t really Christians.
Neither are they.
So they reject all Catholics but are open to Protestants of all flavors? They are willing to sit side by side with the Congregationalists, the Methodists, the Baptists, and even the Lutherans? When do they start to slice and dice the acceptableness?
It’s coming. Don’t rush them.

Funny, but it really should be labeled “joke on Christianity” instead of “joke on religion.” (The closest Jewish equivalent is probably the one about the desert island castaway who shows his rescuers the two synagogues he built for himself: “That’s the one I go to…and that’s the one where I wouldn’t be caught dead!”)
Nope. Schismatic fracturing is indeed a common aspect of many religions, and a lot of them have jokes about it.
