I’d say the overlap between MAGA and UFC fans is near total. Hardly surprising. Every Friday night bully in the country fantasy-aspires to be a UFC dude(ette). And that kind of mind lurves them some MAGA too.
Not total. One could call me a UFC fan. I’ve followed the sport since we rented UFC 1 on video a couple of years after it went down. I’m not so knowledgeable about current fighters, but I still enjoy watching matches.

Many / Most MAGA are UFC fans. The hardass bully image they see in themselves appeals to their taste in entertainment too.
The converse is not as true; you can appreciate fighting sports with being a bully yourself.

I’ve been puzzling over what, exactly, is the triumph being commemorated? I mean, the one in Paris is for the 1870 Franco-Prussian war which is why the Nazis made a special point of marching through Paris when they occupied it some seventy years later.
I think Trump said the arch was to commemorate the 250th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence. But the anniversary is this year and when will the arch be completed?

The arch is to commemorate the reign of trump that happened to overlap with 2026, the 250th anniversary of 1776. Any other explanation is just standard trumply lying absolute ignorance of, and indifference to, the truth.

I thought it was to commerate the seizure of British airfields during the revolutionary war. Trump did that. Stopped that conflict too.
