I was listening to All Things Considered on public radio as I was driving home from work. They were talking to a Catholic person about the tensions between Trump and Pope Leo XIV. The guy said that he could believe that someone else created the offensive image of Trump but that Trump might have taken the blame to protect a staff member from ridicule. I found that ridiculous and I cannot imagine him doing something noble like that.
That is an insane take. There is zero evidence of Trump ever having done that for anyone at any time. That’s pretty much as far from Trump’s personality as you can possibly get. You are right that it is ridiculous to even consider that as a possibility.

I have no doubt it was created by someone else, but Trump wanted to take the credit because he thought it would promote him, not because he thought it would bring ridicule.
Trump hates being ridiculed, he obsesses over it. He can’t stand anyone laughing at him.
He also thinks he’s the most awesome person since the very beginning of time, so why shouldn’t he post images like that?

My coworker was sharing his frustration that Trump is having no success in negotiating with North Korea about their launching of nuclear-capable missiles this month. Those launches are personally very frightening to me but not apparently any kind of priority for my government. They’re apparently too busy subjugating Iran and Venezuela to try to talk with North Korea.
You might imagine the cur-like yet ineffective emails I write to my administration and legislature about this and other subjects discussed on our board.

Why was Jesus Trump attempting to re-animate zombie Jeffrey Epstein? Was the image created by someone trolling Trump?
Perhaps it’s just Trump’s fantasy of bringing back the only friend he ever had.
He’s remembering the good times they had together.
My best guess is that one of Trump’s handlers said to tell the press he thought it was an image of himself as a “healer,” and Trump’s mind garbled that into “doctor.”

My guess: lots of MAGA pundits and celebrities have been daring to actually CRITICIZE him. In his shock and dismay, he thought that the image would convince them of the error of their ways: yes, he IS Chosen of God!! How could I ever have uttered a negative word about Him?!?!?!?
Seriously, I would bet money that this is what he thought would happen.
