How has the disgraced, CONVICTED FELON, former but once again President Trump pissed you off today? (Part 2)

He’s had 100 days; what is he waiting for?

I say that somewhat facetiously, but if we were to take Trump at his word, it’s a valid question. If he really does think the economy is Biden’s fault, it’s fair to ask why he hasn’t fixed it.

I was unaware money coming into the US treasury had anything to do with stock market prices. Is it disbursed back out again right away? That sounds like socialism to me, only corporate instead of individual. I’m confused.

I hear you. Trump claims that we’ve already gotten billions from China, just from his genius tariffs that no one else was smart enough to implement.

I don’t know if it’s still the excuse du jour but among the cultists, the defense was that it would take time. More specifically ~6 months and then the markets would reflect the new phenomenal economy we have.

Of course, Trump, in his negative wisdom, claims they’re already working.

Given the reduction in imports we know is coming - because it takes several weeks to ship across oceans and the change to shipping is going to hit in the next couple weeks - it’ll be interesting to see if the 6 month excuse holds among the faithful or they come up with yet another way to deny reality.

There is no reality, however, in which they ever admit any fault or error.

Heh, this made me wonder what the Trump cultists would do if Trump predicted The End of the World on a certain date and it didn’t happen.

“The End is Nigh!!! (in two weeks)”

“I have a concept of an Apocalypse.”

It is confusing.

Remember when the stock market was booming under Biden? Trump claimed credit because investors were optimistic he would be elected again.

Markets are crashing now that Trump is President? That’s Biden’s fault.

These guys sum it up:
Trump’s Understanding of the Economy Is Like a TODDLER!

Donald Trump is scrambling to spin the latest round of bad economic news—negative GDP growth, a sinking stock market, and growing trade war fallout. On this episode, Andrew Egger is joined by Will Saletan to break down Trump’s erratic responses, his blame-shifting tactics, and the increasingly surreal attempts to convince voters that tariffs have nothing to do with the downturn.

Now? That sums up his entire persona for the entirety of his life. And it will never change.

When the polls go against him, he does not perform any self-reflection, any examination of facts (big surprise, right?). What he does is blame the pollsters and threaten them with legal action.

Remember the Star Trek episode Mirror, Mirror? One line summed it up very well.

Trump is a barbarian.

Let’s hope those “significant legal consequences” include sanctions against the lawyers flacking for him and thus perpetrating a fraud on the courts.

If things are good, it’s all because of Trump. If things are bad, it’s still Biden.

But that doesn’t mean Obama and Hillary are off the hook.

We can never forget Hillary’s emails about Obama’s tan suit on Hunter’s laptop.

I saw some talking heads on Fox discussing how the left is losing their minds over Trump wearing a blue suit to the Pope’s funeral. They expressed dumbfounded amazement that people could go nuts over the color of a suit. :person_facepalming:

IOWRDI

I’m surprised trump didn’t wear a white suit and a pointy hat.

To be fair, there is a Catholic tradition of “pointy hats” in some cultures, which seem to have been embraced by the Klu Klux Klan

Not that Trump would know. His curiousity is so limited I imagine he could not name the capital of Mexico.

Oh, but he could definitely rename it.

Look, if it’s the Gulf of America, then the nation that was obviously named after the gulf should be renamed to match. That’s only logical. And then having a capital city named after something that doesn’t exist is obvious foolishness.

Which one of those Mexican countries are you talking about? /s

Don’t forget that for the last couple of quarters of Biden’s presidency, when the markets were still growing (as they had throughout his term), Trump tweeted repeatedly that it was because they were expecting a Trump win.

I would say “make it make sense”, but I don’t want to be responsible for brain go boom.

Three Mexican countries?! Whoever wrote the graphic obviously meant “three Central American countries.”

I thought Mexico was in North America. I mean they were part of NAFTA and that…

They have brown skin and speak Spanish. Close enough. What’s the problem?

It’s kind of like how Barney Stinson doesn’t like Chinese food:
