I believe the way this went today, was planned in advance.
Look at JD Vance taking the reins of the meeting. What other Trump meetings with heads-of-state have featured JD? At all?
JD was there to make sure that Donald didn’t default to Gracious King Graciously Greeting His Inferior. JD was there to make sure the meeting became loudly acrimonious.
This is a set-up for a Big Event on Tuesday night, at the Capitol. A Big Event that will be blamed on Angry Terrorist Zelensky, complete with supportive video showing Zelensky planning the attack with prominent Democrats, courtesy of CGI/Generative AI.

Yes, there’s not a long time for people to be outraged at the suggestion.
It’s been clear ever since the ~SOTU (called a Joint Address to Congress since Trump’s been in office (again) less than a year) was announced, that this would be an ideal time for a Big Event that could justify martial law.
I’ve been waiting to see how the Zelensky meeting would go, today. It was so clearly set up to be a set-up that I have to wonder at their being so obvious. Of course some third-or-so of Americans would never believe a false-flag attack could occur. It Can’t Happen Here!
But what if today’s blow-up gets millions who are less motivated in their thinking, to consider the possibility of a false flag attack? Would that deter the plotter?
I sat “plotter” because I believe that only one American has to be in on this. Seriously, Vlad could achieve this—make Zelensky an international pariah (after blaming the attack on him) and please Donald (by making Donald king) with just ONE helper.
I’d assumed it would be Donald. But maybe he’ll be left in the dark about it all. Maybe the one helper will be JD. Today’s performance has me wondering.
It can be done so very easily:
- A tactical nuke is put inside some “historic desk” or such by Vlad’s operatives in the US, and delivered to the Capitol office of Speaker Johnson on Tuesday afternoon, with a note saying “I appreciate you inviting me to address Congress, as thanks here’s the historic desk used by your idol John Birch” (or whoever).
- If Donald is the One American in on this, he knows to tell Johnson when he calls to say thanks, ‘you’re welcome.’ If JD is the One American in on this, JD will have sent the desk or will have told Donald that he’s putting Donald’s name on the gift (pleasing Donald who doesn’t have to put any effort into making nice with Johnson).
- Donald must be ten minutes late to the Capitol, Tuesday night. If Donald is in on it, he just goes into the crapper and tells the anxious aides that he’s got to, you know, take care of business, and it’s okay if they’re a bit late. If JD is the one in on it, he does something to make Donald ten minutes late setting out for the Capitol. (Not tough).
- The bomb goes off, taking out the Capitol and a block-or-so-radius.
- Donald claims he was obviously Zelensky’s target and that God Saved Him for a Purpose. (This works whether he’s in on it or not).
- Any footage of those assembled before the bomb goes off, can be said to be peopled by actors doubling for whichever Democrats the Regime wants to turn into their own Emmanuel Goldsteins. Zelensky will be the main Emmanuel Goldstein, of course.
- Video purporting to show Zelensky plotting this thing with a number of well-known Democrats will be widely shown. (It will be Generative AI, of course.)
- Many Americans will be appalled and skeptical that Zelensky, much less Congressional Democrats, did this thing. There might be demonstrations.
- Any demonstrations will be met with gunfire; Trump will pull all US troops out of Europe, leaving Vlad (who supplied both the bomb and the faked video) to do as he pleases.
- All ‘blue’ cities will be permanently occupied by US troops due to frequent sightings of Emmanuel Goldsteins (Zelensky in Atlanta! Pelosi in Austin! Schiff in Philadelphia! etc.)
- All those pesky rulings by judges and GOP town halls filled with angry voters just go away, as if by magic.
Over-active imagination? I surely hope so. But what would be great is if hundreds of people started thinking about how easy it would be for the regime to pull off a false-flag attack and blame Zelensky----and about how both Donald and Vlad would profit by such an act.
TLDR: Donald and Vlad would profit MASSIVELY and neither has a conscience. (Same goes for JD in the ‘he’s the one American in on this’ scenario: profits bigly and has no discernable conscience.)
This is where things get tricky to predict, IMO. In a Reddit thread about people internationally reacting to fascism or authoritarianism in their homelands, a commonly mentioned spark for resistance was the death of a protestor. Not saying that America would be exactly the same, or that everyone would even hear of such an event, but I think actually killing people would change the calculus of reactions enough that I’m not sure that what happens after would be that easy to predict.
Thankfully, no one had the forethought to grab a bit of cloth and staunch Ashli Babbitt’s wound.

I caught part of it. My take - Trump is using standard bully tactics. He’s tough on his “friends” when he has lackeys around to back him up, but a kissup to the other tough kids because he knows they’re actually tough.

Egads, them saying Zelensky insulted the President. Trump the went off insulting Biden, Obama, Shumer, and probably Pelosi and every other key Democrat since the W administration.
Fucking tools. Praising and defending Putin and telling Zelensky he’s being stupid for wanting assurances of Ukrainian defense before agreeing to sign over a fortune in mineral rights is disgusting.
“If I sign over these mineral rights for a cease fire, are you planning to come back asking for more for a final peace treaty? Are you expecting more mineral rights when you redraw Ukraine’s borders a third smaller? What happens if Putin reinvades in a year, after having time to rebuild his military? Is America going to provide aid then, or sit back and watch more destruction and death because ‘It’s not our fight’?”
They said Trump told them to leave. I almost wish Zekensky had gotten up and walked out. Hold his own press conference later.
I’m embarrassed and disgusted and fuming.
If we’re going that far, I wish Zelensky had shaken his head, looked at his security guards, and ducked, while said guards blasted our executives to tiny undifferentiated bits while jamming all cameras. Then he could do a press conference where he stated “unfortunately, the American representatives were blown to bits by a Russian attack” with a strange half smile on his face.
First you’d have to find an American who will stand up for themselves.
I’m not a violent man and I’ve never hit anyone in my life, but having read about this disgrace, part of me wishes VZ had just thought ‘fuck it’ and slugged the pair of them. What would the SS do, shoot a head of state?

Telling Trump to Fuck Off is one thing. Assassination is a completely different category of rebuke.
As much as I want Trump gone, I don’t wish that on Zelensky. That might make support from the rest of Europe harder to justify.

Well yeah, Trump. And can you picture him trying to win a one on one debate calmly using logic, reason and facts. It would be awesome if the U.S. had a forum like Prime Minister’s Questions in the UK. He wouldn’t make it through the first minute.
I haven’t been in this thread since Feb 11th and there are At Least a dozen more instances where Rump deserves to be impeached, arrested, removed from power, and possibly imprisoned for life on Elba.
