How I Spent My Summer Vacation

Mr. Ruby and I just got back from 10 glorious days in Florida visiting my mother-in-law.

That was the good news.

The bad news is that the day before we arrived, my brother-in-law decided to announce to his wife out-of-the-proverbial-blue that he wanted a divorce. We spent the next 10 days listening the b-i-l explain that he now “wants to be single” and the s-i-l cry her eyes out.

Geesh.

So…How was your vacation?

that sounds really uncomfortable. i’m sure y’all wanted to run far, run fast.

i did home improvement. i didn’t get much done due to the heat and humidity.
