Unless that religion is Islam, right?
Nitpick - India has no national language. Hindi is the official language of the Union, but not the national language. English may also be used as an official language, and there are twenty two scheduled languages that are quasi-official (including Hindi, but not English).
Furthermore just because it’s the official language does not mean everyone in India actually speaks Hindi.
Quite true - it is the most commonly spoken language in India, but IIRC only between 50 to 60 percent of people speak Hindi proficiently.
Because there are some folks that confuse Indian as in Native American Indian or Indian from the country India just like some folks confuse Northern Ireland with the country of Republic Of Ireland and i was ignorant or guilty of the Ireland situation.
True people in South India don’t speak Hindi.
And then there are folks that avoid what was observed. I was not talking about the ones that confused that, try again.
That’s exactly what I was going to say. How weird is that?
Ditto.
Then I look down and saw he’s apparently suspended again? That was fast. This has to be a trock right?
Probably not trock, but a troll is very likely.
We’re short some Mods currently and hopefully by tomorrow I can process the ban.
They came back trolling extra hard today.
Understood. And much appreciated. I’ll chip in for a shiny new pair of jack boots.
Called it.
Yes you did.
This whole scenario though has made me realize something about myself. When my radar picks up on racism I guess I just default to filtering that through white supremacy? Probably because that’s the form of racism I have the most experience with? (That last sentence is begging to be clipped and taken out of context)
IAN Imuseless and can’t speak for him, but the impression I got is that what he intended to say was “True, people in South India don’t speak Hindi”. His punctuation seems a bit erratic in general.
Check out some of his superlong posts without line breaks.
And I agree, that was pretty clearly his meaning.
His trolling in the tough to be an Atheist thread was really blatant.
Starts here:
Ditto, I think.
He(?) seems more than a bit erratic in general.
Well, that’s what happens when we are a hive mind. Or did you not get that memo?
Yep. And that bit about “true people”? Wow.
He didn’t put a comma.
It sure looks bad, so perhaps it was intentional. I don’t know.
I initially felt sorry for him. It sounds as if this person has mental issues and addiction problems. Not to mention a degree of intellectual handicap.
Now I think maybe this is a troll device to draw people in to a thread and just spew crap nonsense and disagreeable ideas.
I’m inclined to assume he meant to put a comma in there, but the meaning is clear; he’s a brown Hindu, not one of those black southern Indians who don’t even speak Hindi.

Now I think maybe this is a troll device to draw people in to a thread and just spew crap nonsense and disagreeable ideas.
ding ding ding! We have a winner!
