I’d like to avoid why I’m asking this, but about how long does it take for a quick fog of pepper spray to dissipate from a room? The room doesn’t have much circulation. And it seems to be spreading.

Well, it depends. With little circulation it might settle after a bit, but then be stirred back up. I don’t have any experience with it, but I would suggest getting some air moving before you have to wash all the surfaces.
