How long will it take for you to accept a Romney win?

I blame the primorial ooze!

Who even voted for the Big Bang anyway!

Columbus? Bah! You’re off by about 500 years, mate. The real fargin’ bastidge who set us all on the wrong path was Leif Ericson!

You can get back on your high horse when the birther lawsuits stop.

Anyone who has the Trumpster in their camp really cannot question the mental capacity of another group

This. Once that happens it’s over.

And no, I wouldn’t be too surprised to see it happen; the Republicans are demonstrably willing to do anything to win. Including voter fraud, voter suppression, and having the Supreme Court simply appoint their candidate the winner. They are both powerful and completely amoral.

Who allowed that dang singularity??!!

Prop 8 taught me all I care to know about Mormonism/LDS, thank you. And I’m not even gay.

OP: #3

Garlic eater!

It took about a week after 2004 for me to come to terms with the Bush re-election and a Romney win is not nearly as difficult to get my mind around as a ssecond term of Bush was. Frankly, I wouldn’t have much of a problem with Romney winning if the Tea Party hadn’t taken over the Republican party.

Ann, Ann, you’ve already had your 5 minutes of fame with the “retarded” meme. It’s time to move on, mkay?

Could you explain why Nate Silver and all the other really rigorous analysts are wrong? Why should we believe you?

#3.

That wouldn’t mean I accepted he won legitimately though. There is already plenty of evidence that voter fraud can affect the results. Voting machines can be manipulated or simply fail, and the number of machines can be manipulated to result in long waits selectively. Voters can be intimidated, mail in votes and registration can be altered or thrown out.

It would be great if we tried to deal with this stuff before an election, so we could do it without assigning any blame, purely to improve the integrity of the electoral process. Afterward politics make it impossible to deal with.

 She’s practically quoting Nate Silver.

I’ll accept it as soon as the networks call even one blue state for Romney, including Ohio. Now, if it turns out that what I accept is wrong, so be it.

What the hell are you talking about? According to Shayna, Romney cannot legitimately win the election.

According to Nate Silver, he most certainly can.

Are you talking about a Nate Silver different from the one who runs the “538” election prediction blog? 'Cause I’m looking at his blog and I’m having trouble finding the part where Silver says Romney can’t win the election.

(5) Never!

I could deal with it like I did for the eight years of Bush. Accept it? Never!

Oh yes, this.

I think many moderate Republicans are telling themselves that this will be like another Reagan that will throw bones to the extreme right, they forget that the Republican congrescritters of today are the extreme right that will not back down and they will be in a position to get their pound of flesh in a Romney Administration, Cannot go back to trowing bones to them as Reagan did, not when he appointed Tea Party Ryan as VP.

Or maybe Romney recognizes this and has made a very clever move, like JFK bringing in, and effectively neutralizing, LBJ, the Master of the Senate himself.

Something I remember being said either by LBJ or about LBJ: “I’d rather have him inside my tent pissing out, then outside my tent pissing in.”

Nope, there are too many clones of Ryan in the House, they will get their pound of flesh…

If independents and reality based Republicans get fooled.
