I commute roundtrip around 75 miles a day; it is mainly highway miles so not too bad, but still a bummer. Class or work six days a week. What about you?
Two miles, generally on foot. Steep hill at the end going homeward. My arms still ache from bringing home the groceries this evening.
lol. I live nowhere near a city; you live in a small town or some kind of city?
12 miles
used to be 25 miles round trip; got a different job and it was 4 miles; now I’m working from home, so it’s a stroll from the bedroom to the sunroom. w00t !
I am real lucky, 6 miles roundtrip. I can get home in 10 minutes. I really makes the workday much smaller.
Zero.
I need a job.
10 miles by car, round trip. But I only have to do that 2 days a week right now, on those days I have class.
'bout 3 miles/day. Sacramento is good that way.
Round trip, about 90 km (55miles?) to go to school. In the summer, I drive about 110km (68miles?)(round trip) to go to work. This will end April 2004, when I will move to Montreal. I might have to get rid of my car then, which upsets me to no end (I actually LOVE driving most of the time), but a lot less time will be wasted on the road when I have other things to do.
I bought a sports car to make my early morning commute more enjoyable. A few months later, the company moved to a new office 4 miles from my apartment. I now have a 10 minute commute in the morning (15 minutes in the evening) but there are days when I wish it were a tad longer…
Barry
130 miles RT. yes I do live in LA why do you ask?
60 miles RT
About 20 steps up the stairs. I work at home.
44 round trip. It’ll be better when T-rex is done and it drops back down to 20-30 minutes
Seven miles. It helps to live near the guys who select the office building. It’s actually a little less than when I had my own company.
It’s a small town, population about 2000, on a small island. Getting to the nearest city requires a 90 minute ferry ride each way, often with long waits and fierce competition for vehicle spaces. Apparently some of our residents actually make that commute.
Eight miles, round trip. If I time it right, I can spend more than an hour in traffic, surrounded by other happy NJ drivers. Lucky me!
Unfortunately right now it’s 72 miles. I’m looking to short that to about 10 to 12 miles max by the end of the year.
32 miles, but I’m currently working on my case to present to my boss about working at home.
