How many Netflix things have you rated?

2473, but there are a lot of things I haven’t seen that I rate purposefully low so my perceived opinions are known (Hmmm, he always rates reality TV shows a one, and he would rate them a zero if we allowed it)

1300

I’ve had Netflix for around three years and I’ve rated…Zero.

Beat that. :stuck_out_tongue:

Does anyone know how the “Not Interested” ratings actually work, relative to the predictive value of the starred ratings? Does NI just exclude that single movie from coming up again in recommendations, or is it a “zero” rating, or something else?

I don’t really know, but I think it just keeps it from showing you that title (making way for other titles you might actually want to see).

  1. I use the rating system as a way to keep track of the movies I’ve seen and haven’t seen so that I don’t forget.

613 as of right now, including a fairly decent mix of things I’d seen pre-Netflix that I could remember well enough to rate, and pretty much everything I’ve seen since joining netflix. My TV recommendations are a bit rubbish–I have a decent idea what I"m going to like, so I don’t think I’ve rated any TV show I’ve seen less than 4 stars. Thus, netflix has concluded that I love everything that has ever been on TV.

After this thread yesterday, I spent some time rating a few hundred more movies. It really has improved their suggestions for me. I’m up to about 1600 now.

How the hell do I see how many I’ve rated?

Hit the “Movies You’ll Love” tab at the top.

Oh WEAK…322.

Thanks FP.

Glad to help. Took me a while to find it at first.

1027 Movies

I don’t have Netflix now, but I did for several years. I never rated anything.

I also don’t rate eBay sellers or provide feedback for professors. This probably says something terrible about me as a human being.

3314, I know ridiculous. I love movies. I rent them, I stream them on my Xbox. Guess I have just seen too many movies.

  1. Member since 2005. I’ve found the recommended movies to be pretty accurate for what I’ll like, the more I rate.

Anyone notice some “watch instantly” movies don’t even have the DVD option any more?

Okay, since we’re talking about Netflix: I went there to see how many I’ve rated and couldn’t find the number. I’ve seen the number before but couldn’t find it just now. Also, has the community/friends section ON Netflix disappeared and moved to Facebook?

Netflix.com. Click on “Movie’s You’ll <3.” It should be in the upper right hand corner of the screen.
