4020 total, with 192/550 from my class. This year’s our 15th, so I’m not surprised to see a high number.
75 registered, out of, I think, 305 in my graduation class. (1977).
But most of those registered when it was still a free service, I did, but all I can do is read what’s been posted, I can’t post anymore.
Out of the 75 registered, only 5 are full members now.
Since my school opened in 1955, and there are over 2600 allumni registered, I’m not going to run through the whole list.
And I was mistaken about the fee. It’s $27.50 per year.
I’d heard of classmates.com but hadn’t gotten around to checking it out until this thread reminded me of it.
I went to Fountain Valley High School in Fountain Valley, CA. It had one of the largest student bodies in CA, so the numbers I found on classmates.com were not too surprising:
6544 total alumni registered, 220 from my graduating class of around 840 in 1985.
Percentage of ~25% ain’t bad. Admittedly, the vast majority of those people registered I couldn’t give a hoot what happened to them.
138 out of about 850 in the class of ‘79’.
7183 total alumni from Redlands, CA.
Including one from 1926.
Uh, that should be 7183 total alumni registered with classmates.com
About 30 from my graduation class ( out of 125 or so)
My old best friend has registered and she has 6 kids. I can truly say that I hope she is happy and as big as a barn now.
32/175 with a total of 2034 registered. Found a few old friends, but still didn’t feel an overwhelming urge to contact anybody. “How ya been?” “Good. You?” “Good.” pause “Well, see you around.”
–sublight.
33/106 for my high school
Weird thing, though… I registered quite some time ago after my ex-boyfriend registered. (I think he was the one who told me about it.) I hadn’t been back there in some time, but when I checked just now, he is no longer on it. I wonder why he would have himself removed…strange.
0 registered from my high school out of (I think) 34 total alumni. Oh well, they’re all snobs anyway.
Interesting.
There are a total of 3034 alumni from my old high school (in Beaverton, Oregon) registered there.
Out of 264 in my graduating class of 1991, 145 are registered, including me. That’s about 55%, which I guess is pretty good.
The options for searching elementary schools is interesting, but the sad thing is that at least one of the schools I had attended no longer exists. From grades 1 to 3 I attended a very small private school in Lakeland, Florida. The last time I saw it (August 2000), the building now appears to be strictly a preschool, and the name was changed. My guess is that the teacher who ran the school while I was there died sometime after I left, and her daughter (who taught the kindergarten level) took over. The demise of the school would make searches for alumni for those grades very tough.
At the other elementary school I attended, there is no one there registered, at least not from the time I attended.
Not many. And not many that I would like to contact in particular. And not the people I’m looking for.
Does anyone know of another site like Classmates where someone can find someone they’re looking for?
http://www.gradfinder.com is a great site. I have registered and it’s free. You get to see all of the detail that someone posts about themself.
Per the OP, there are 35 out of 329. Only one of them is someone that I speak to. However, I only spent one year there; at my previous school and the place I spent most of my life, there are 5 out of about 100. Again, none who I would speak to. One of them even had an affair with my sister’s boyfriend while living with them. Nice.
24 out of about 180. More than I’d expected, since this has never been the most organized bunch of people on the planet. I’m not kidding, our class almost didn’t have a 5 year reunion because everyone forgot about it.
Just checked again. There’s actually rather a lot of my graduating class registered there now, and several I’d like to talk to again. But damn, why do I have to pay to do it? That sucks. I can’t afford it right now.
Grrrrrrrr!
There are 64 people out of 167 in my graduating class. I even got an email from one of them when a couple of weeks ago.
51 out of 209 - so just under 25%. Lower than I would have thought, and no one I’m dying to contact, anyways!
Wow, 5 year? I didn’t know schools HAD 5 year reunions… I missed my 10 year because I couldn’t afford to fly to Arizona at that time.
106 out of about 475, so approximately 20%. From our school there are close on 2600 registered, which is pretty good considering the school is only about 25 years old (the first graduating class was in 1978 or 1979, I can’t recall which)
I have no idea how many students were in my graduating class. More than 700 I would think. There are 196 of us nown (there was only 28 or so when I first registered two years ago.}
There are 10204 Brooklyn Tech alumni registered. I guess my class is just too darned lazy.
