How many slang terms we think of for being on drugs?

Toe Up
Feeling no pain

More specific:
Coked up
Lost/Trapped in a K-Hole

Doped.

Seriously, people.

Wiped slick

Shot in the ass

Fucker’n hell

Singing to the birds

Cattywampus

Bejesused

Stupid dopers. :frowning:

Kicking the gong (or “been kicking the gong”)

Spun!

Wow, a lot of these I’ve heard but there are also a ton that are totally new to me. I wonder if they’re regional?

Lemmy (from Motorhead) has the lyric “Ferociously stoned” in their song “Iron Horse”. I’ve always liked that.

I always use some form of “breakfast”. When I’m at the bar and want to go “get some fresh air” I say “I’m going to get some breakfast” or something like that. Because there’s always a 24 hour diner around, right?

Elevated

Not low

I’ve heard of “destroyed” “annihilated” and “obliterated.” Also “caked” or “caked-out.” I’ve also heard a guy refer to how high he was by combining annihilated with hammered, to get “annihihammered”

I had never heard the term spun until I moved to Denver, but you hear it in the jamband scene as well. Person who is spun is on MDMA.

Happy.

Chinese eyes.

A friend of mine who 1) had a very strong Southern drawl, and 2) was absolutely smashed:

“I’m fucked upper’n shit!”

You have to read it in dialect. It was hilarious (and I have co-opted it for my own use).

Then there’s trashed, zonked, zoned, and lost in the ozone. And trashed. Wait… did I already say that one or did I just think it?

How high can you be and still manage to say “annihihammered”?

Did I miss reading “pissed” up there?

“Tranked”

Feeling alright.

Flying.

Freaked out.

Zippy.

Slammed.

Uncle Brother Walker - my stoner friends & I used the term “breakfast”, but for us it was because of those stupid anti-drug ads from the 80s where they show eggs frying in a pan “This is your brain on drugs, any questions?” Yeah, just one - did no one ever tell you that stoners think of being “fried” as a good thing? Saying “I’m breakfast!” basically meant “I’m fried!”

Watch a lot of Dragnet, did you?
