0.90£ per liter today, which works out at $6.03 per US gallon. What do I win?
Prices here north of DC are around $2.07-2.11. I’ve seen a few places go up as much as 10 cents in one day. Up around Frederick it’s around 1.97, not worth it to drive up there though I hear a lot of people do it. Why I still don’t know.
We are paying anywhere from $2.22 to $2.50 gallon (that’s for regular). I usually gas up at Costco or Safeway, they’re consistently running lower than the other places. It cost me 35.00 to fill up my Explorer last week, and I still had over a quarter of tank left before I filled up.
It seems like it’d be a bigger waste of gas to drive miles out of your way to save five cents per gallon than to just suck it up and pay.
It’s a good thing I filled up in the morning for $1.91/gallon. When I drove home that evening, the same gas station had it for $1.99/gallon.
An 8 cent jump in about 10 hours! Yikes!!

Yesterday, the cheap gas at Costco was $2.26
Could be worse. The gas station in El Portal (just outside of Yosemite on 140) was charging $2.96 for 87-octane on Sunday.
I can’t remember not seeing $2.xx for quite a while here.
Paid twice yesterday:
$1.99 regular - Peoria, IL
$2.25 regular - Chicago, IL (near Midway airport)
This is still less than half of the UK price, you’re all a load of whiners! 
Why the hell did the price go up twice in 28 hours?
I paid $1.99 at 7:45am yesterday.
As I drove back by that station at 4:30pm it was $2.02.
This morning at 9:15am (I have today off) it was $2.04! Same station.
This just makes me hate driving even more, but since there’s no public transportation to my town (never mind near my house) I’m SOL…
I filled up on the way home from work yesterday. The sign outside the station said $2.01, but it was actually $1.99 at the pump.
I drove past the same station this morning. The price for regular unleaded had already jumped to $2.09.

I didn’t leave the house today, but yesterday I filled up for $1.849/gallon in Middle Tennessee. It’s probably $2.25 today.
