Hurricane Harvey added 39 1/4" over five days to bring my 2017 total to 90 1/2". Without Harvey (assuming a couple of inches during the Harvey period would have fallen anyway) that’s right about average for the rest of the year.
2016 was 60 1/2".
2015 was a really odd year - 96" with no tropical storms to blame. It seemed like every time scattered thunderstorms were forecast they scattered in my direction.
