I don’t play WoW, but I recently saw this story at Gamespy: GameSpy: Digital Town, Inn Labeled WoW's Red Light District, Blizzard Attempting Clean-up - Page 1
AFAIK, the actors in The Guild are not playing WoW, just a generic fantasy MMORPG which never appears on screen or gets a name. Since pretty much all fantasy MMOs share the same mechanics, roles etc… any gamer can relate, really.
Besides, the OP missed the point of the joke : it’s a Bollywood parody. Bollywood duets always feature The Sexy, no matter what the actual subject of the song is. Zaboo’s fight against Real Life is also parody of Bollywood karate flicks (yes, they exist. And they’re hilarious.)
Moon Guard wasn’t really that bad, but it was a RP server. I used to be on it because RP servers are in fact filled with nice, helpful people… until you hit 80. Then they are filled with useless buffoons, because there just aren’t many good raiders or pvp groups, and lots of experienced people just go back and get new characters.
But we did have problems. I was in a guild that was fast building, getting farther and farther, and gearing up for when ICC came out. Then some people get evicted for ero-rp in guildchat and things started falling apart. Aside from talking too wildly about their nookie in public, they were also some of our most dedicated members, but they had to go.
If I remember correctly, some of the banners in the throne-tent in Thunderbluff have somewhat sexual content. It’s all text though, and nothing explicit, of course.
25 posts and I’m the first to mention the female NE stripper dance?
It’s not a stripper dance, it’s from Alizee.
…
…Well, okay, that’s a distinction without a difference.
