I’m thinking of getting Minecraft for myself and my son, but I wanted to download it from the Playstation store instead of getting the disc. Anyone know how much space games like that would take on my PS3? Would I save space if I get the disc instead??
The actual game file is pretty small - I found a link that said 243 MB. So to answer your primary question, you’d save essentially nothing relative to the size of your console’s hard drive.
The more relevant question is how big the save files are going to be, but I believe the PS3 version had some constraints on the total size of the maps. You shouldn’t have any problems.
