Seriously. The entire test was me saying “Well I don’t necessarily feel embarrassed when x happens, but I would prefer it not to occur… I definitely don’t prefer when x happens, anyway” and choosing the lesser of 2 wrong answers.
It’s a stupid quiz, though. Not all the answers are mutually exclusive. You can like getting compliments and still get embarrassed over them. Likewise, you can daydream about being the focus of the crowd, but blush like crazy when someone looks at you. And… I could go, but the posters above me already went there. So I’m just going to go with “I didn’t like it.”
I took it again and got a 15 this time. Not sure what questions I answered differently but apparently I become more authoritative and exploitative as I get older. (I wonder if on average 50 year olds score higher or lower than 25 year olds and 75 year olds on this.)
What I’m saying is that if the quiz is total BS, what’s the explanation for there being huge differences in results between an average person and an average celebrity? Clearly they’re answering the questions differently than average people.
Your Total: 11 :dubious: Whaaaa? I’m like in negative numbers!!
Between 12 and 15 is average.
Celebrities often score closer to 18.
Narcissists score over 20.
Authority: 5.00
Self-Sufficiency: 1.00
Superiority: 2.00
Exhibitionism: 0.00
Exploitativeness: 1.00
Vanity: 1.00
Entitlement: 1.00
Working in a blue-collar environment, where I am usually far-and-away the smartest person in the room, does contribute to the fairly high superiority score, no doubt. Plus the fact that I’m awesome. But I really have no interest in being in charge because being the boss usually means interacting with other people and I hate that. It’s easier if I just handle it myself and don’t have to deal with morons who’ll just do it wrong anyway.
