Now add up the total number of points.
OVER 60 POINTS:
Others see you as someone they should “handle with care.” You’re seen as vain, self-centered, and who is extremely dominant. Others may admire you, wishing they could be more like you, but don’t always trust you, hesitating to become too deeply involved with you.

51 TO 60 POINTS:
Others see you as an exciting, highly volatile, rather impulsive personality; a natural leader, who’s quick to make decisions, though not always the right ones. They see you as bold and adventuresome, someone who will try anything once; someone who takes chances and enjoys an adventure. They enjoy being in your company because of the excitement you radiate.

41 TO 50 POINTS:
Others see you as fresh, lively, charming, amusing, practical, and always interesting; someone who’s constantly in the center of attention, but sufficiently well-balanced not to let it go to their head. They also see you as kind, considerate, and understanding; someone who’ll always cheer them up and help them out.

31 TO 40 POINTS:
Others see you as sensible, cautious, careful & practical. They see you as clever, gifted, or talented, but modest. Not a person who makes friends too quickly or easily, but someone who’s extremely loyal to friends you do make and who expect the same loyalty in return. Those who really get to know you realize it takes a lot to shake your trust in your friends, but equally that it takes you a long time to get over if that trust is ever broken.

21 TO 30 POINTS:
Your friends see you as painstaking and fussy. They see you as very cautious, extremely careful, a slow and steady plodder. It would really surprise them if you ever did something impulsively or on the spur of the moment, expecting you to examine everything carefully from every angle and then, usually decide against it. They think this reaction is caused partly by your careful nature.

UNDER 21 POINTS:
People think you are shy, nervous, and indecisive, someone who needs looking after, who always wants someone else to make the decisions & who doesn’t want to get involved with anyone or anything! They see you as a worrier who always sees problems that don’t exist. Some people think you’re boring. Only those who know you well know that you aren’t.
I don’t think the answers supplied were quite fair, as they don’t necessarily offer an answer that really fits, but the score I got does seem to fit me pretty well, and better than the other descriptions.

    (g) posting on the SDMB . . . Oh, wait . . .

Interesting, amusing, etc - maybe. But in 56 years no one has ever, not once, referred to me as charming, kind, considerate, or caring.

I was in the 41-50 point range, but really belong in the one below it. Of course, I always do things that really surprise and freak out the people who know me so it’s no real surprise that I would be in a different group from how I’m viewed.

I got a good 'ole 36.

May I suggest reading the spoiler about the ranges and deciding what you think you are, (but not reading the scoring table) before taking the test, to truly see how accurate this can be?

44 points. I guess I’m charming and vivacious! Heh. Who knew?

49

ill have to ask my friends if they agree

That’s a good idea. I did wonder how much I agreed with my score simply because it was what I got (if that makes any sense).

How come two years ago when I took this I was a 36, but now I’m a 27??? :frowning:

I was working REAL HARD on the test when someone interrupted me. I was really pissed, but I guess I enjoyed the break. Wasn’t really feeling my best, cause it was too early or late in the day. So I joined the sales staff in the break room, charged in screaming obscenities - you know, to get noticed. Later I hid behind the copier. I stood still for a while, talking to them. Well, not entirely still. My hand was down my pants as I poked and prodded at this one guy.
Mark me down for a 50, although I can be charmingly volatile on Oxycontin.

I got a 38, but none of the answers in #10 were things that I dream about, so it might be a bit skewed. 31-40 describes me pretty well though, and none of the others do.

38, too.

I got 42. The dream question didn’t really have an accurate answer for me, though. Sometimes I have nasty dreams, sometimes extremely nasty. A lot of times I have dreams that can’t be described in terms of “bad” or “good”, just “kinda odd”. Oh, well, as long as I get to be charming, who gives a shit, right!

43, middle of the road. Call me Mister Average.

40.5, based on giving myself average scores on two questions (6 and 10) for which none of the answers fit.

When I go to parties I slip in quietly and watch people and see who watches me, and try to see what is the smallest and most innocuous behavior I can engage in which successfully attracts attention of some people to me.

When I dream it’s usually about a problem I have to solve, not a crisis or catastrophe. Often an engineering problem, to the extent that it makes any bloody sense at all. Like the time I dreamed I was in the front yard and had to get to the back yard by making a contraption of ropes and pulleys and climbing up trellises and balconies to as to attach and utilize it and pull myself up the front of the house, over the roof, and then lower myself into the back yard.

That’s one of the oddest dreams I’ve ever heard.

I usually dream about having to get out of some vaguely threatening place, so I picked c.

I got a 34. Not particularly precise, but closer than the other categories.

None of the options even remotely fit me! This does nothing to help my raging personalty disorder, I tell you…

Whoa.

The description isn’t very accurate.
