The Wiki page for Erwin ‘Filthy Pierre’ Strauss says he was born in Washington D.C., but it doesn’t have a date.
Erwin S. Strauss was born in September 1948, making him 59 years old.

I’m going out on a limb here, but I suspect that Filthy Pierre was born in 1944 rather than 1948. His Wikipedia page says that he was vice-president of the MIT Science Fiction Society in 1964. If he was born in 1948, that would make him only 16 at the time, rather early to be in college. In 1999 I and Filthy Pierre were both in a tour group around Australia. (The tour group was nearly all Americans who had just been at the 1999 Worldcon in Melbourne.) I believe that it was there that Filthy Pierre told me that he had just retired from his job. He said that he had retired just short of his 55th birthday. I thus suspect that he was born in 1944, rather than 1948, as Wikipedia claims.
I just spoke to Filthy Pierre. He was born in May of 1943, so he’s 65. I don’t know why the Wikipedia entry has the wrong birthdate, but it definitely is wrong.
