Inspired by this thread (What’s the right age for a woman to marry?), who got married for the first time the oldest? I know I don’t qualify - I was 24 - but someone must.
I was 35.
Nowhere near…I was 21.
Sorry. 24 as well. And my husband was only 22.
I was 19. My husband was 30. It lasted a long time.
One month shy of 30.
My husband married the first time when he was 19 - it lasted 7 years. He was 27 when we married, almost 20 years ago.
I was 25. I still are.
My wife was 22. She also still are.
We do not is close to oldest.
That’s the worst English I’ve ever intentionally used. I am proud of my efforts.
I was 18, makes me the youngest so far. But knowing this group someone will be around to trump that.
Another 24.
24, too.
I was 37.
- Husband was 21. 9 years as of last Wednesday.
I was 23.
Today would have been my wedding anniversary if I’d stayed married. Yup, got hitched on April Fools Day. I was 19, he was 20. Young and dumb!
30-and-a-half; so was she.
18
I was 19…he was 33.
Is there an award for the widest range between ages? Or perhaps the stupidest thing to do?
Mr. Tabby and I met at age 18, married at age 23.
I was 25, he was 19.
It will be sixteen years of mostly bliss on the 27th of this month.
(The secret…no kids, okay, one of the secrets.)
- We dated since we were 15. Still married at 45.
