6’1 is about three and a half inches inches taller than the averga American male height of 5 feet 9.5 inches. Also is almost 9 inches taller than a the average American woman (Five Feet Four inches)
He is still not nearly big enough to need to sit at a six person table. He’s a larger than average but not huge person. If he wasn’t famous he wouldn’t get a second glance in public.

OJ made it through over a decade in prison. I saw a few articles over the years and he was in the general area with other prisoners. Worked in the gym cleaning the equipment.
I’d guess a few tough guys tried to rough him up.
OJ apparently is a likeable guy (in person) and that may have diffused any dangerous situations.
Prison is not like the movies. Violence does happen but it’s mostly bored guys keeping to themselves. Simpson was in a medium security facility.

Ace is well aware of the vagaries of prison life. IIRC, he did a nickle upstate.
Well, I don’t like to brag about my past exploits.
I have seen news reports of violence in jails and prisons. Rikers Island is very dangerous.
I realize prison violence is exaggerated in the movies. Violence sells movie tickets.

This is what Simpson’s prison life was like. It doesn’t sound like anyone tried to rough him up.
OJ did ok. It was smart putting him in a medium security prison. He never caused any trouble or did anything to jeopardize his chance of parole.
