I know The Daily Mail is not necessarily a beacon of journalistic integrity - at least not in my opinion. But they recently published a story that made me reach for my testicles and quiver in horror.
Here is the title and a link:
Married TV actor wakes up to find his testicles have been STOLEN after he is drugged in Russian bar by attractive blonde working for organ traffickers
My question is:
How likely is this story to be true? What are the odds that someone fooled The Daily Mail into thinking this story was true when it was actually just a hoax?
I can’t imagine blacking out only to wake up covered in blood and find my testicles have disappeared. OMFG!
Aside from losing his balls, he will now very likely lose his wife as well. Don’t you think?
The fact that they blurred his face, but still used his name (a name which, mind you, produces no valid hits on IMDB, and no Google results that aren’t links to this same story) should be a dead giveaway.
I’m not getting what the market would be for these? Do people ever NEED new testicles? I mean I know someone who lost one to cancer, but functions normally. I would assume there isn’t much of a shortage of these if they are needed for medical reasons, but hey - what do I know.
