He admits to continuing, present day, to have sex with prostitutes. He admits to having unprotected sex at least twice.

I’m guessing he’s admitting his condition only because he got tired of being blackmailed. The article mentions at least one blackmailer was a prostitute, so it’s something that he opened himself up to through his own behavior.

He’s damn lucky he’s not looking at criminal charges.

But the fact he was being blackmailed suggests that he was honest with his partners. I’m inclined to give him the benefit of the doubt rather than damning him out of hand without a shred of evidence.
