I know it’s been done before (explaining your username) but how about how to pronounce it? Obviously, some don’t require any explanation and it’s really easy to say Pseudotriton Ruber Ruber , but how’s about the names nobody knows how to say?
Mine is easy. R-S-Schen, it’s part of my name IRL. But I have particular problems with, say, Mangetout. Is it Man-Get-Out or Man-je-too?

I always assumed the name Mangetout was a reference to the omnivore (and I mean omni vore) Monsieur Mangetout and hence his name would be pronounced the same as his.
“Whifton Polekitty” is a name taken from my great grandfather’s vaudville act. While pronounced “Whifton Polekitty”, I tihnk the nature of the name should be taken as “Lusus Naturae”.

Tev-ill-doh, or just “Tev”. (NOTE: I do not claim that this is how the Tolkien character’s name should be pronounced. Discussions elsewhere seem to come to the consensus that the Prince of Cats’ name was pronounced “Tee-VILE-doh”; but I’m not he.)
Although most people who address me by this name say “Tel-video” or “Tele-vido”, and spell it “Telvido”. Ah well…
