How should one eat sushi?

Went to Reno for the weekend, and after the build up of this thread, I had to have dinner here. The ahi sashimi was a little disappointing, kinda mushy. But I had something I’ve never tried before and was wondering if anyone else has heard of it? Probably by a different name.
It was a maki roll, and they called it the “Godzilla.” Spicy crab, cucumber, salmon roe & wasabi, rice on the outside of the roll, then deep fried. Good. Stuff. Anyone else had anything like this?

With a big smile and lots of wasabi and soy. Mixed, unmixed, doesn’t matter. My preference is mixed, but that’s just me.

And the wasabi has to be fresh. It should really open your sinuses up for you if you OD on it.
